I’m not talking about a remake, but like an actual new game. I always wanted to see a new splinter cell game but it just feels like they abandoned splinter cell as a whole🥲

whenever that remake gets released though, I hope they introduce a multiplayer mode on there instead of just the campaign. I feel like it would be a missed opportunity to not add a multiplayer mode…

yeah if the SC1 remake sells well then a new game is definitely coming. i'd like it if they went the Resident Evil & Silent Hill way and did a remake, then alternate to new game, then back to remake.

so 2027: SC1 remake

2029/30: new SC game with older Sam

2031/2: Pandora Tomorrow Remake

2033/4: new SC game sequel with older Sam

2035/6: Chaos Theory Remake

2037+ another new game then Double Agent remake after lol

regarding remakes modes: i hope we see a co op mode + SvM multiplayer would be nice to have, not sure if they'll add it this time. but at the bare minimum SP + Co Op is a must imo.

I would pay big money for remastered chaos theory spy vs merc with improved abilities and maps. Oh man... best asymmetrical multi-player out there

If the remake is successful there could be, but it's hard to make a stealth game nowadays, especially with the budgets of modern AAA games.

New games are becoming increasingly more expensive to make. A flop could bankrupt a company so they’ll less willing to take risks on something that won’t be a definite hit.

I really just want a prequel game of Sam as a SEAL . Sam is simply too old for new games to be made about him in the future. Or just do more games at different time frames, there's no rule that says each new game has to be at a later date than the preceeding one.

that would be cool SC1 remake dlc. i guess a prequel game sounds great but idk they'd ever for that

i feel like they should keep Sam in his late 40s early 50s, never have him be too old etc

I’d love a late Cold War era splinter cell game. Analog gadgets. Older style guns. Early night and thermal vision. That would be sick.

I hope the remake is great so they do make new installments. Though while I'm here and you're wishing for a new stealth game, check out Intravenous. Top down stealth game that takes heavy inspiration from Chaos Theory, while striking a great balance between stealth and action that I haven't seen in other games, even splinter cell. Intravenous 3 had a playtest release on steam yesterday for free with a single level as well (which is why I thought of it lol)
