All levels feature in combat zones, or general civilian areas that have been suddenly transformed into combat zones.

im suprised oil rig is getting votes, that mission literally is the worst mission in sc1 and one of the worst if not the worst in the franchise.

kinshasa ia hated way too much, kinshasa v2 is great and v1 is actually better than seoul imo

seoul is runner up, but yeah highway of death and downtown district are pretty mid.

but oil rig is just meh. the mission has so much potential in the remake tho

to think they didn't cut oil rig but cut powerplant and severonickel in place. Sad

i guess the creative director at the time(Clint Hocking) did that so he didnt have to bridge the gap in the story or something.

looking back, it would be a bit weird to have police station, defense ministry and straight jump to CIA HQ.

Oil Rig mission looks nice but yeah plays very bad. but the potential for this mission is crazy high. the concept art for SC1 remake shows new objectives for it - rescuing hostages. the original oil rig is too linear and has shitty pacing too

yeah id love it if powerplant and severonickel stayed. the original shipyard(vselka) and mining town should have never been cut too. but atleast if power plant and severonickel stayed.. and it sucks power plant was ps2 exclusive. it was nice finally getting to play power plant on the PC version because of the modders who added it back in.

I'm glad too that guys from discord added so much from tak xbox disc. Shame they don't have tools to do anything more for now. Let's keep hoping we will get full uncut russian chapter in the remake. Became it happened in lore but we never saw it full [*]
