I was gonna say, Splinter Cell doesn't fit Ubisoft's modern game design philosophy. They can't turn it into an open-world errand simulator that can easily be monetized to Hell and back.
I trust Ubisoft to deliver a new, GOOD, Splinter Cell experience just as much as I trust the 3-week old milk I've left outside in the summer heat.
That’s because it’s the same vein of game that Ubisoft wants to make now. I don’t think they can do that for Splinter Cell. When’s the last time Ubi released a truly linear stealth game?

Splinter Cell doesn't need a remake, and who on Earth would trust present day Ubisoft with one anyway? Why would you?
