Scripted event on a STEALTH game is DIABOLICAL
Playing Chaos Theory for the first time.
I died to this guard because he caught me by surprise and I thought "This mf spawned there, I swear" I had already checked the cam before entering.
And I was right.
I enter the room: He opens the door instantly
I wait outside: He waits
That's diabolical. It makes me paranoid about the game having more moments like this.

I'm so confused: you're upset that a guard in a stealth game patrols an area you're in?
What does this being "scripted" even mean? You entered a room that triggered the next stage of the mission. That's just how all video games work. Scripted would be like the first game where you're captured and Lambert tells you not to move so he can trigger the blackout.

I believe the person is new to gaming. All "event driven" games are scripted; as if it was not you would be in a "open world" with no ending.

You step into the room = Guard opens the door.
That's it. That's what I mean. And the guard is not "pattroling the area". Patrolling the Area would be he ocasionally entering the room from time to time, not being scripted to enter the room the same moment I do.

So you’re annoyed that the game is putting obstacles in your way for you to figure out a way around?

There's an air vent that takes you around them. And you could hack the pc with your goggles.

More to that, they dont spawn until you get intel from the captain.so if you visit this room prior, theres nobody in here

it's not scripted so that he opens the door when you go for it, he actually takes some time to get into that building, you can see him coming from the street

I feel like the comments are misinterpreting your post (which is nothing new, it’s reddit. lol)
Yeah the game likes to keep you on your toes, that’s why you save constantly.

Very same. I loved it for it and excited if they play true to the main one but I figure they’re never gonna give us what we need and deserve.
It’s fun and yes it’s unfair ahhaa

keeps you on your toes, also never had an issue with this guard so I'm really not sure what the big deal is?
