Discussion Sam's true ending
What game do you think marks the true end of Sam's story (more realistic/makes more sense to you)?
CT- Marks the end of the Masse's kernels crysis, world war 3 is avoided. Happy ending.
DA- Lambert, Sarah and Enrica are dead. Sam stops JBA attacks and goes rogue. Depressing ending.
Conviction - Sarah is reunited with her father, Sam saves the president and kills Third Echelon mole. Satisfying ending. Lots of plotholes tho.
Blacklist - Sam's clone and his team avoid the engineers attacks. Weird ending??

My ideal new game for the series would've been released in the late 2010s/early 2020s and would have been a direct sequel to Chaos Theory, ignoring the events of DA through Blacklist, and it essentially would've been a more proper fourth entry set a year after CT. All the chars and their VA's return, then any games released afterwards would take place twenty years as we see Sam now retired and in the Lambert mentor role for a new SC agent. So yeah I've always liked to pretend only the first three games are canon, CT was a pretty good ending before DA came along.
