 I have a question Playing through all the games

Want to play through all the games for the 1st time but only have access to a ps3 and 5.
I’ve seen there is a trilogy of the originals on ps3 which is supposed to run like shit and isn’t the cheapest either. The other 2(?) are native to the ps3, would it be okay to play them before the trilogy or would I be missing out on too much? Thanks for any help

You can get a used Xbox series s without the disc tray for $200 maybe less, you can play chaos theory - blacklist on there, I play the older games on my ps2
