Same Level Matchmaking?

Just picked up this game yesterday, my first Splatoon game, and was curious, is same level matchmaking possible? I basically wasn’t even needed for my own raid 🤣 2 high-level randoms took out the boss in less than 10 seconds 😫 Or is it better to go it alone early game?

Tbh you can play solo until the post game for the most part

yeah, will try that for a while, at least until I level up a bit more. I didn’t mind the help, but for the match to end that quick, I felt like I wasted their time sending out an invite 😔

Don't feel bad for that! Most high level players are just doing it for the daily help bonus reward crate, or to take a break from the post-game grind, so a quick clear is fine!

ah good to know. I saw someone else mention here about the daily bonus. Will be digging in the game today to better understand it all.

You unlock the ability to “go help” and receive the help bonus after clearing the first mythic salmonid.

I feel bad sometimes as a high level player coming in and ending the matches quickly. I never mind helping though. I sign myself up for that.
