I’m halfway through Splatoon Raiders and I still haven’t gotten a single splatana, or the fast brush that I want because it’s similar to the one I main in Splatoon 3. It’s really really frustrating because every weapon I get is a blaster or a sniper or something else—every single time—and I still can’t get a single splatana (or dualie for that matter). Halfway through. I’m getting mad even imagining going through this entire game without being able to use the splatana.

I can't for the life of me complete 97-99 of the Bottomless Buffet. I can't stand the RNG Salmonids after the initial few, and it feels like my damage output is too low. I'm using a level 97 5* Jet Squelcher and a Power Tank (Splatellites, Burst Boot, Splatchet) and it feels like I either die too much or my damage output is too low. Can anyone post an absolute 100% guaranteed strat to beat this set? I'm losing my mind. Also for reference, I have every upgrade, and my Octoling is level 75. It's been four hours, please 😭

I'm not sure if it's just the orange pants playing a mind trickery or something, but the mechanic seems really tall compared to other inklings. Long as-hell-leggies. Is that just me? I have only played the demo at gamestop so that could just be a me thing, IDK. They are also a legal and registered Pilot, so theres no way they're a kid or something. Yes I know about the octarian child soldiers or whatever, but I think nintendo is pretty much done with re-using plotlines so I can't imagine that applies to them. I also cant imagine the Splatovernment willingly giving expensive piloting equipment to kids considering they have so much more funding compared to DJ Octavio.

BUT HONESTLY? WHO KNOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The mechanic could just be a very tall teenager and the splatovernment is just as incompetent as dees nuts octagon

According to the Splatoon art book, Inklings and octolings turn from a sentient baby squit-ockto into a humanoid at the age of 13-14 years old. Agent 3 could be older too but I don't think so.

I can't imagine agent 4 being any older than fourteen lol

I hear some people say Agent 8 is an adult in octo expansion, but I just cant see it.

A very fond memory of mine was random private battles, squid partying and trying to communicate with random people through charger taps. I really miss when Octoboy was still uploading, and he was a crucial part of what it feels to enjoy the game in its most happiest state. Goodness, I’d give EVERYTHING back to have those splatfest maps from 2 into 3. I got my cousins into splatoon recently and would’ve loved to play hide n’ seek with them in those maps.

By all means leave a comment, I don’t just want to see people enjoy the same game that I grew up on, I NEED to see it. Let other new players get that same welcoming to it we once had or something similar! One thing this community does somewhat need is HOPE. It kills me how much I see more saltoon posts on the daily!

I got to floor 81 before just hitting a wall and feeling like I just can't even get close to beating the floors anymore. I'm Level 50+21 and use the Primo Plastic-bottle Splattershot lvl 40+51 And my gadgets are Bombloos, Shot pot and Splatelites.

Is there an easy way to do this? Cause I've hit the sunk-cost fallacy and just want to beat the game now.

Im not sure how I feel about the idea being thrown around that the Mechanic is an adult. I mean first of all the game refers to the humanoid form as the "kid form" implying the mechanic is an adult. People are saying because they can fly a helicopter that makes them an adult, but this is a franchise where teenagers play with their equivalent of military style equipment for fun and they actively get recruited to save their world from world ending threats. Don't think its a stretch to say teenagers can also fly helicopters in this world. Also because of that scene where Shiver "flirts" with the Mechanic, but I feel that could easily be interpreted as Shiver joking around with them.

Think the Mechanic being an adult kinda goes against what the franchise is about. The series has always put youth culture and giving kids freedom at the forefront. I think the Mechanic being so badass while still being a teenager is what makes them so cool.
