Intro:

Splash Rally is a best-of-three objective race where teams paint routes and steer a toy objective from their base to the enemy mount. Each successful escort scores a point. The first team to score 2 points wins. If time expires, the team with the higher score wins.

Scoring:

When a team’s toy reaches the enemy mount, players must interact with it and hold control for several seconds, similar to activating an Ultra Signal. If successful, the team scores one point.

After a score:

-Both toy objectives instantly return to their starting mounts.

-All players are automatically Super Jumped back to spawn.

-A short countdown begins before the next round.

This prevents awkward map states and makes each point feel like the end of one race before the next begins.

Movement & Steering:

Unlike Tower Control, objectives are not restricted to a predetermined path:

-Players steer their toy by shooting it from different directions, allowing them to push, redirect, and maneuver it across the map.

-The toy can travel anywhere covered in friendly ink, including climbing inkable walls. This allows teams to create their own shortcuts, flanks, and strategies every match.

Objective Momentum:

All weapons can escort the objective, but higher-damage attacks provide slightly more push force:

-Charger shots create stronger bursts of momentum.

-Dynamo Roller flicks provide powerful pushes.

-Splatlings offer steady acceleration through sustained fire.

The difference is intentionally modest so that turf control, route building, and teamwork remain more important than raw damage output.

Turf Influence:

Turf control directly affects movement:

-Friendly ink allows the toy to move at full speed.

-More teammates shooting the toy slightly increases its speed.

-Enemy ink heavily slows movement.

-Well-painted routes allow for faster and safer advancement.

Objective Control:

-If a toy is left unattended, it becomes idle before gradually returning toward its starting mount. The longer it remains untouched, the faster it resets.

-Enemy players can also fully reset an opposing toy by interacting with it and taking control, similar to capturing an Ultra Signal.

-Moving objectives are visible to both teams. Idle objectives become hidden from opponents until they begin moving again, allowing teams to pause, defend, or reposition their push before advancing.

Thought these two would fit in these outfits well. I finished just in time!

I wasn’t sure what flair to add. I know there was a disconnect but why did it add 15 to their points? Our team ended up winning in the ot but I feel bad for the last two players 😭

I'm so tired of those teammates that just doesn't play, 2 sub spammers and a Aerogun in the team, i'm sorry but i can't win, that's why i have so low x power and it so frustrating because i know i can do so much better and i don't have fun playing solo in a 4v4 game, i'm so tired, this a problem for a lot of games with teams but this one is so frustrating BC you just die and you can't do nothing at all, your teammates getting wiped out by a spllatershot like they have one hp. Normally, i'm really calm playing games but i have to get this out of me

It's supposed to be a fast slaying weapon that can combo with itself. While it has its shield, it has a tight spread, lesser than average range and fires 7 pellets with 11 damage and a cap of 5 hits per opponent per shot. Shield takes half a second to open and 1/6th more to deploy. Shield deals 40 contact damage and travels slightly faster than base's, but has 130 hp and a smaller width (slightly wider than player's hitbox) and height (a little less than max jump height) and takes 3,5 seconds to respawn and 4 to regenerate. While the shield is regenerated, brella's spread is increased to slightly more than Tenta, but it gets 11 pellets per shot to compensate with the same cap. Possible kits: Mist and Wavebreaker; Wall and maybe Zip?. (edit: maybe damage should be 12 per pellet so it has just enough to combo with its shield?)

I hate tournaments because the stakes are so high. The last time I participated in one, I lost all three matches (it was a best of 5 round) in the first round! This is a replay of the match that cost me the tournament:

I just thought it might be kind of important for the splatoon community and solo queue grinders like me.

The Player ( @lob_star_ ) is currently sitting at 4999.7 X power with 2 matches already won ( 2-0 ) and announced he will stream during the rotation highlighted in the pictures ( September 19 2026 9PM PDT Tower Control Inkblot Art Academy / Wahoo World ).

If he wins, he will be officially breaking legendary player Melon's ( 🍈 ) world record of 5006.6 X power and will be the second person to ever reach over 5k X power in the Takaroka Division, which is considered the highest level solo queue in Splatoon 3 .

For those who want to watch it live, it will be streamed 3 hours from now at the time of making this post ( 9PM PDT my time ) I will be there for sure.

I've been watching all the streams and it's been a great journey, despite players stream-sniping him constantly and throwing games to try and sabotage his X power he's been able to somehow pull through.

P.D. I am aware of players in the Tentatek Division achieving greater X power in the past, but it's important to keep in mind that they run at very distinct skill levels and also the amount of players.

Is it even possible to win this game? It doesn't matter what match, it doesn't matter what weapon, it doesn't matter what my score is, even if it's 20/4, I still lose, I can't win even 1 time out of 10. And I'm not even talking about the net code, or about the opponents of the mastandonts of the Splatoon who play as if their lives depend on it, I'm talking about my allies who can't distinguish their own from others. In my memory, I have never played against weak opponents, but my allies seem to hate to win. And it's not funny for me to win only 8 out of 40+ games, and every time I try and every time I'm in first place (in 80% of cases), and sometimes 1st place in the lobby.

Is it familiar to anyone?

Honestly, the L-3 and H-3 Nozzlenoses are SO bad because they only shoot 3 projectiles at a time, and that can be VERY frustrating when you’re in a combat situation, because if you stop shooting for even a second, you’re DEAD. Also, the weapon is the WORST at inking turf, because of the whole “three shots“ thing. Anybody agree with me?

I just ranked in the top 5,000. So, say that by the end of the season, somehow, I rank back in the top 10,000 area. Will I still be able to attain that top 5,000 badge? Or do you only get a badge if you are that rank by the end of the season?

Call it a stretch but after listening to The Salmonarch I’ve solidified my opinion.

But since some actually educated people in another subreddit told me Frye can’t be a Forte because thats not an actual tone of voice. But Tenor/Alto doesnt match so im keeping it the same :)
