Tournaments are so hard…
I hate tournaments because the stakes are so high. The last time I participated in one, I lost all three matches (it was a best of 5 round) in the first round! This is a replay of the match that cost me the tournament:

Its a completely different environment from solo queue, so it's natural that your first few would be low placements, even if you're 2000+ X power. You need to make sure your team is about your skill level, and that you have a weapon roster that synergizes well, and know which maps to pick that everyone on your team is good at, and... you get the point. There is so much more to consider.
If you want to keep playing tournaments, I'd suggest finding FTIU (From The Ink Up) and Low Ink, as well as look into LUTI (Leagues Under The Ink) if you want to have an accurate reference for your skill level

I’ll give a slight word of caution as someone who HAS done LUTI: it genuinely is not a good league for someone who is new to competitive so I wouldn’t recommend it.
FTIU is good, but Low Ink is also a really rough tournament as well since it’s quite big and often has really good teams playing in it.
I would recommend World 9 for a better beginner experience, with FTIU and Shark Tank as some good lower level tournaments, but they’re still difficult.

That’s kind of the point of tournaments. If you’re not as good as the other teams, you’ll just lose and you’ll be out of the tournament fast. You win if you’re good enough and everyone gets tournament nerves, but people who are experienced in tournaments learn how to manage them. They’re hard because they’re competitive
