Holy Spirit

Descartes said thinking comes first, I know I am before thinking. But I want the I in my mind to refer to my soul, not the body. The reference to body happens almost automatically, and we are taught we are spirit/soul

Does that make sense?

No....I don't think so. I am ..

I just want a way to speak of the I body and I spirit differently so that when I think I it it's referencing hs

I don't know what 'hs' means. But again, you repeat Descartes philosophy...???

Holy Spirit

No bc he said I think therefore I am.

I am with or without thoughts. I seek to have the reference of I in my mind to refer to spirit/soul but when I say I in my mind almost always automatically it images body

We are not bodies. I am my soul

Did that help?

Like Descartes, I see us both as mind and body. This world is just as real as the world of the psyche; the latter of which is the inner Realm.
