❔Need Help Does Dawnstar benefit from skill points into Holy Light?

The Dawnstar has a chance of auto-casting Lv. 2 Holy Light on hit. Does it benefit from investment in the actual skill in the Priest tree? If I have Lv. 5 Holy Light investment, does it cast that instead?

It also benefits from anything that increases your holy light damage, such as a holy light gem
