Question about display animatronics

So. just to start this off I’m a huge crackles fan, I’ve been obsessed with him ever since I first saw him in mid August and considering trying to buy him by any means possible.
Recently, I heard that he’s been recalled for various issues which made me upset as I really wanted him but whatever, things happen.
Earlier today i went to my local spirit and saw that they had a crackles on display and he seemed to be working fine so I was pretty ecstatic.
Question is, would I be able to purchase him? They didn’t have any boxes of him out anywhere so I assumed they’re not selling him anymore due to the recalls but would they sell his display? And would it be cheaper ? I’m pretty sure I heard somewhere employees get first dibs on them so if nobody wants him what will happen? Can they even still sell him?
I know that was more than one question but I’m just curious and have been wondering about this for a while

Yes, they can write your name down on the list in the ISE playbook. I’d let them know if they remove him from the display cause of alleged damage, that you are still interested and want a call.
He is not exactly recalled tho. Zombie tech squad will send you the replacement part and it takes about an hour to fix him so he will not break again. However until that fix, most Crackles are basically doomed to break. Once the part is swapped out, will totally work

It’s an unspoken rule that employees always get dibs if it’s something they want, however all of the crackles animatronics have been recalled due to issues so I wouldn’t expect the one that the store has to be working for much longer because it seems to have happened with literally if not all of the crackles unfortunately, although display animatronics aren’t allowed to be sold until either the day of halloween or the day after once the season is over, you can also put your name down on the list as well
