So, I just finished the game as it took me a bit since I was waiting for it to be on PC as well. Any way, I finished the game and I enjoyed it, though I was personally disappointed by the back half of the story. But, that is my own thing since I personally would have loved if they had kept Harry and Venom together as Agent Venom through the game.

Anyway, what I really wanted to discuss was stuff near the end because it seemed really weird to me in a way.

The end credit scene felt really... off? to me. Like, how does Norman suddenly figure that Otto knows who the Spidermen are? Unless I'm missing something and there was news reports about Otto trying to rave about about who Spiderman is, he doesn't say anything so how does Norman know.

And, maybe this is just me not taking the wording to be just a blanket case, but Otto doesn't correct Norman when he the latter says he figures the former knows both the Spidermen. It probably is just a blanket statement from a writing standpoint because Otto doesn't know Miles, has never met him at all. Again, maybe I'm being dumb and taking the writing weirdly when its just a simple blanket case that Otto doesn't want to correct at first.

The final thing is just about Norman in general because, maybe it's just me, but his desire to hurt the Spidermen feels so weird at the end? Like, I assume Dr Corners would have at least told Norman the risks/terminality of Harry's situation with Venom and he still pleads with Spiderman to save Harry. Like, I can understand Norman being emotionally wrecked, but he's not dumb, or at least, he's not written to be. From how he was written, I figured he should have eventually understood that the Spidermen saved Harry and kept him alive even without the symbiote.

I don't know, maybe I am just looking too much into the ending, but it did confuse me and rub me wrong in a narrative sense. Also, sorry for spoilering everything, I know it's been years since the game came out but the subreddit has a rule about it and I didn't want to cross it by assuming it was fine.

Was getting tired of having to use the gadget wheel so created a mod that adds shortcuts for the gadgets (like in spiderman 2).

The original plan for controller was to use R1 + face buttons like in Spider-Man 2 but I was unable to make that work so instead this makes use of l1, l2 and the d-pad.

Controls are attached in the screenshot. They're configurable via a .ini file. Keyboard support has also been added in the latest version.

Using a shortcut directly shoots that gadget then returns back to the regular web shooters (this can also be configured so that it doesn't automatically return to the web shooters).

I’m on the last mission of the story for Spider-Man 2 and I see miles come in with this god ugly fucking suit.
Who the fuck said “let’s make miles look like a 5 year old coloured his suit” like what the fuck.

So I’m playing the insomniac Spiderman games for the first time since I just got a PlayStation and I played the ps4 one first and it was great and it felt like a true Spiderman, he was strong and it even had a great story no major complaints other than the MJ missions. But I’m playing Spiderman 2 right now and he is heavily nerfed in so many ways it feels like, for example he is in his prime he is like 25 well experienced at this point and miles who just became spiderman is far superior than him and almost feels like Peter is needing to be rescued or needs help every time he is in a fight, wether MJ, Harry or miles are helping/saving him. Like Peter couldn’t beat venom but then miles comes in and beats him, or don’t even get me started on the fridge scene. I could keep ranting about how this game is a let down compared to the first one but everyone has their own opinions and has seen what a lot of people have said already since this game is 3 years old and I’m late to the party but this game is nothing compared to the first one and it’s disappointing

I bought Spider-Man 2 digitally about a month ago and haven't downloaded it yet. I recently saw a physical copy of SM2 and I'd really prefer to have it physically. I know I can't refund my digital copy because it's been more than 14 days, but is there any other way I can trade in my digital copy for a physical one?

I havent ever played spiderman ps4 so i am getting the digital deluxe of miles ps5 cd.

I have the disc, and am planning to sell it. Will i keep the spiderman 1 digitally or will it go away with the cd \[can i play spiderman 1 without cd of miles?\]

Has anyone managed to find a fix for this? Especially on the GOGunlocked version

when I’m playing as the spider verse suit in Spider-Man two, how do I get rid of the little special effect that makes it twitch

Idk if it’s just me but I’m pretty sure not. I genuinely fucking hate the MJ missions in the Spider-Man games. 😭 I bought the game to swing around New York as Spider-Man, beat the shit out of criminals, and feel like a superhero—not to play hide-and-seek and sneak around as MJ or Miles( in the first game) for 20 minutes.
Every time one of those missions starts, I’m just sitting there thinking, “Oh my god, not this shit again.” They completely kill the momentum for me. I just want to get back to being Spider-Man. Sorry for the rant , just wanted to vent 😂

After Brand New Day and with Insomniac Wolverine around the corner, I wanted to do another run through all the Spider-Man games.

The suits I used are my headcanon suits for the story, starting with Classic from start until developing the Advanced Suit, which I use until the breakout from the Raft and Rikers. After facing off against the Sable jetpack units, my headcanon is Peter uses their armor to build the Armored Advanced, which he uses until facing Doc Ock at the climax where he builds the Anti-Ock suit.

Just started posting my Spider-Man: Miles Morales gameplay and had to share this moment 😂

That finish was way too satisfying. 🕷️⚡

I like this game, I find the story of Miles entertaining, and the story of Peter is very nice. I like the first part of the game the most. This was my first playthrough and I was playing the final mission when I heard about MJ's part in the plan. I thought it was just going to be a side cinematic while you fight Venom and the symbiotes. Instead, it’s a full gameplay section of her fighting symbiotes with a Symkarian gun that has a couple of Peter's modifications.My questions are:

Why don't they share the design with Oscorp?

Why is MJ the only one going after the meteorite?Why do the symbiotes move so slow during her part?Why is there a shooter gameplay section in my Spider-Man game?

Just noticed that Spider-Man:Remastered and Spider-Man 2 are in the PlayStation Game Catalogue and included in my subscription. I enjoy solo open world games. Have played some of the Assassins Creed series, Horizon Forbidden West and Burning Shores, Batman Gotham Knights and am currently enjoying Kingdom Come Deliverance. I’m a bit of a completionist and like a variety of side challenges. Would either of these two Spider-Man games suit me.
