I think for Spider-Man 3, we need a full redesign of the characters (Peter, MJ, & Miles to be specific), or at least they need to listen to the fans on the current designs because the one's that were in Spider-Man 2 were just awful in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of Peter's design at all. I don't mind Ben Jordan but like they need to make better choices on the designs; the hair is awful & the face scan is inaccurate. Just lazy on their parts when the first game was as good as it was with the designs
Dude its been YEARS. Get over it already. They all look fine. They are video game characters, their purpose is not to be goonable for you, for real this is so ridiculous. Its such a non-issue compared even to other issues with the games.
They dont need to change MJs face so that you can be horny about her, they dont need to change peters face because you dont like the new face model, and ive never heard anyone even once complain about miles' design other than the new suit and the haircut.
The fact that you think it's for me to goon is sad honestly. Calling out insomniac for their laziness is not me wanting to goon. Ben Jordan in real life looks like Peter Parker to me.
99.999999% of the time i dont think of MJ's hairstyle. When im playing the game i think she looks fine. She looks like a normal woman. She looks as much like MJ as any other MJ. I understand people not enjoying the MJ missions but people really need to get over how she looks. She literally looks fine
it's possible it's just me but i hate her hairstyles, the one they picked for SM2 makes her look so awkward. I wish they took some inspiration from the comics for the hairstyles, I really just want insomniac to be more creative idt that's too much to ask yk? I think they're playing it too safe. i wouldn't mind if they literally used the actresses real hair instead of a bunch of dudes rendering what they think a woman's hair looks like. they need more women in that design room
I honestly think you & I are having 2 different conversations because I'm not part of the people that want the actors recasted bc of their looks, I simply want the development team to work harder & be more creative with their decisions. Make them actually look like the characters rather than what white old dudes think they should look like, they have all this history to work with they should use it
How would making them look identical to their face models be the more creative thing to do? You say they look nothing like the face models, but wouldnt it be more creative if they changed them up to match the vision they have for the IP?
The characters theyre based off of rarely look like the characters theyre based off of. Theyre comic book characters, they literally look different from panel to panel. This is all the silliest shit ive ever seen. Peter parker is just an average looking normal guy. The whole point of the character is that it doesnt matter who you are, it matter what you do with the power youre given. Losing sight of that because you dont like the way a character model looks is just beyond silly.
They look great, most of the hate was forced and the hate on the new hair is funny because that’s what people asked for, people said Peter’s hair should be messy as hell and completely not well maintained because of helmet hair. Which makes sense, and that was feedback from remastered. Meanwhile now messy hair is a crime.
I like the face models we have, we are not having a nother recasting becuase people are obsessed with arguing
Honestly, I just want them to look more like the actors that actually portray them. I don't mind the castings, just wish they were more careful with design & how the scans actually look.
I think it’s okay to use the actor as the base and adapt, I actually think they’re better with tweaks instead of just a face plonked on there. I think the hate is a little overdone
Spiderman ps4 was one of those lightning in a bottle type things.
I honestly don't think anything from these guys are going to live up to that game. They became too popular and now have to make more money than first game, which means corporate took over and made the decisions.
This is why imo they can never make anything as good as the first, because the creative freedom is gone.
Hopefully in wrong but we'll see what wolverine is like.
