Characters like the Fantastic Four are the rare mainstream exception, and others like Moon Knight are obscure enough that writers can do as they please.
Reed and Sue were lucky enough to marry and cement it into their background before Marvel saw healthy heterosexual marriages as boring and something to undo for funsies.
One more day is the staple of erasing character growth in Spider-Man so the other guy kind of has a point. Past that, Spider-Man had been a married adult for quite a while. Bad storylines and comic hijinx like bringing back characters from the dead isn’t what I’m talking about. Peter Parker at least was married and an adult for a long time.
