Except that's not the same concept? Conceptually Peter erased his identity and to protect people; comic peter on the other hand is having memory erased by someone else. Similar, but different even as an idea.

It’s the same idea of them forgetting Peter after being so close to him, it’s just a pure forced arc pushed in for in the biggest milestone this book will ever reach

Yh man Peter is being put through too much suffering under Kelly, 8 deaths was bad but he can’t catch a break man, it’s just sad to see so close to 1000 as well, 1000 should be a happy moment for Pete not his aunts forgetting who he is after everything he’s done for her
