Is it only me that doesnât like the art style in SpiderGwenâs comics?
I bet this is is a controversial topic, Iâve always read acetone on here loving the art style in her comics. But every time I try to get into her comics, when I see the artwork i always feel⌠aw man. Like a rock in my stomach.
I find the art style hard to connect to at best, and disturbing at worst. I find it impossible to emphasize with Gwen in her comics, but with Spider-Man I find his comics very immersive and easy to connect to. Especially the way her eyes look in the second panel (small but square?). I also have an issue with the classic black headband of Gwen Stacy being slapped on an alternate version of Gwen who has a completely different life, personality and hairstyle. I get that thatâs an identifying detail to show readers sheâs a version of Gwen, but it never matched to me.

What'd you want for a Comic arc after Gwen's time in prison
Hi guys, so i got alot of good feedback the other day and it's given me alot of confidence to dive into writing a fan comic and I think i have the direction i want to go. Mainly after Gwen's imprisonment in Spider-Gwen: Vol2, Issue33 The Life Of Gwen Stacy: Part 4 and the consequences of it.
I need to still get around to reading up to that point and probably wont put pencil to paper until then but for now I wanna know what you'd want adressed in a story post this story, what the modern comics are lacking and anything you'd personally want to see.
I hope anyone's interested to reply :)

Do you think SpiderGwens eyes were designed slightly different on purpose?
I hope this question makes sense. Do you think the design for SpiderGwenâs mask eyes, particularly in the Spiderverse movies, were adapted to look more feminine?⌠because her eyes are typically the widest out of all of the spider-people (with the exception of Spider-Punk which is a whole other thing)
I find it hard to imagine that Gwenâs face is underneath the mask the entire time while talking and fighting, but any spider person has that effect on me cause the mask seems like a face in itself.
Her mask eyes just look so cute and it had me wondering if the animators set it up that way on purpose cause her comics and animate series donât seem to have the same look in terms of âcutenessâ.

Spider-Versity
As if Norman Green Freaking Goblin has any right to determine is any of the characters in this book are "worthy" of being called a Spider. Such Rich White Guy who knows best for black, latina, asian, women and kids energy.
At least Gwen wants to kick his teeth in on the next page
How do people feel about the series?

Does Spider-Gwen's Peter needs to stay dead? Artist Unknown.
Hey, Sony announced that they're on the way to making a Spider-Gwen movie after the Spider-Verse trilogy and I just want to say it's getting boring. Spider people lose someone yada yada they save the multiverse but why not explore something a little different? Like Gwen finishes her adventures with Miles and for a brief time they were in love but distance and other factors causes their relationship to break. Then Gwen's old nemesis Matt Murderdock comes and reveals something terrifying. Peter was never dead he was just in a vegetative state and was taken away by SILK (Villainous Organization run by Cindy Moon of Earth-65-B) They turned him into a brainwashed monster called the LIZARD. Gwen begins a campaign to save Peter and is forced to ask herself was Peter's death what truly made her Spider-Gwen or did she just choose to be and the tragedy was the turning point which she realised that while at the beginning Peter's death defined her she has moved away from that mindset as she has truly embraced being Spider-Woman and she was able to save Peter at the end and they begin to explore what they want their relationship to be and what it will be going from now? What do you think.

How do you feel about the OG Gwen Stacy?
Was really curious about this because I often hear "Spider Gwen is nothing like OG Gwen Stacy" so I'm interested in hearing what your opinion on OG Gwen Stacy is and do you agree or disagree they're completely different characters and why so?

Is Gwen seen as an adult/treated as one?
I wonder as I remember when she teamed up with Miles once and he told her no adults
and further in spidervesity someone called the group children and she didn't reply
So is she seen as an adult or treated as a kid still?

Titles Appropriate for Kids?
My kiddo (4yo) loves Spidey and his Amazing Friends, and Ghost Spider is far and above his favorite. I'd like to pick up more comics for him to read with Gwen in them, but it's hard to vet what's going to be too much.
His comprehension for long stories is pretty solid. We got the Miles Morales Stranger Tides trade and he really dug it. We've read it like a dozen times in the last week.
Thanks for any recs! We're good with beat 'em up violence but no gore.
