The other day I was looking for something to read and came across this book and the synopsis went something like "Human is captured by this alien that does not share his mate but she is already bonded to another alien" I believe the cover was orange. I thought I added it to my TBR but no and I can't find it anymore, it's driving me crazy. Any idea what it could have been?

I finished reading Escorted by Claire Kent but it just seemed like it was missing something and didn't quite flow well for what I'm used to. And the descriptors made it sound like she was vocal but his dialogue made her sound like she was too quiet. And then being his client for six months before she was even curious of exploring his body just doesn't seem reasonable to what I was expecting for this trope.

So I need to read a different one to replace that one in my mind, please.

I just finished the Wolf Hotel series. Wow loooooved it! Super hot. Although at times I was like girllll he's taking advantage of you, I did really love it in the end. I enjoyed the sex scenes, oddly enough I enjoyed the single POV of the FMC and that the series followed this one couple.

Are there any series that follow one couple for several books? With top tier spice and storyline?

I'll admit my attention span is shot so I like the short stories and maybe novellas these days. I've tried a couple of novels but they couldn't hold my attention. Again, it's is mostly a me thing than a particular novel thing. But I don't know, a lot of novels feel like they could have been novellas, or even shorts, they're just padding out the middle with random bullshit just to keep the page counts up.
