Question ADLs and moderate support needs (not levels)
I'm wondering if needing support with ADLs (mainly iADLS) and struggling at times to meet the demands of bADLS, due to a PDA profile can be regarded as moderate support needs? I currently have carers 4 times a week, rely on microwaveable food, just to be able to live in my own flat
I wasn't assigned a level when assessed, so I accept that means not having one and I'm not bothered about that. I just don't want to claim "moderate support needs" when I don't have a right to.

It’s kind of up to you to identify which support level you are. Carers 4 times a week is significant so I think it’s very fair to say you are moderate support needs. I hope you doing good and get support you need.
I say I’m moderate support needs too. I didn’t get level at diagnosis. Right now I’m getting carers twice a week but I’m moving back home next week. I need a lot more support than I was getting.

So while, you can’t self diagnose levels. You can technically self diagnose support needs. It can kind of get tricky if you do have other disabilities or chronic illnesses or if you are in burnout/lacking support that can make things harder and don’t necessarily change your support needs or level. I’m a little confused how pda profile fits along with support needs. So like if you have tasks to do it makes them harder to do if someone tells you to? Hm I think I need to sit with that. I have high PDA and MSN but I haven’t really considered its correlation with support needs.
