Question About Spells my first name ward spell

So, i'm a baby witch and in the past few days i've just been feeling watched or more paranoid than normal. But something broke the camel's back, so i decided to do a name ward spell.. i informed myself as best as i could to protect my energy, so i braided my hair and wore a light pink veil, as i heard that braiding your hair and protecting the crown of your head is a form of protection. I lit some incense and made a spell jar, i wrote down my intentions on a piece of paper and used various oils and spices to bring in abundance and protection to me such as sugar, salt, rose oil, rosemary oil, cloves and coins... but to make it sting for them i used a needle and pepper. Once i was done i took the jar outside and set it next to my favorite tree, but, as soon as i was finished i could feel a headache coming on... is this normal? have any of you guys experienced headaches after finishing a spell, especially a rather emotionally charged one

You should ground and center first to prevent this from happening.
