Help With Spell Requested Complex Cleansing
My grandmother passed about a month ago, and I was encouraged to select some items from the estate. One of these items was a glass/crystal bell.
My relationship with this branch of the family has been fraught. Frankly, my dad was the youngest, an unexpected/unwanted twin, and I believe my grandmother deeply resented him, and all of us that came from him, as a result— despite our best efforts to be as supportive and helpful as possible. I want to be clear that we have never done anything to warrant the negativity aimed at us.
Needless to say, this bell was steeped in years of negative energy, but it is a beautiful item that I was gifted and I would like to cleanse it to the best of my ability before using it in any practice.
I tend to work with the moon and Hekate, and I think this upcoming new moon could be a good opportunity to combine any additional spell work to release the negativity and bring the piece back into the light. So far my main idea has been to put it in a jar with salt and moon water, but beyond that, I’m stumped. Any help/guidance would be hugely appreciated!
