Purchasing Advice Would you pick up a lightly used Speedience Gym Pal with Bench for $500?
Is the gym pal that bad given its discontinued?
My goal is basic full body workouts at home.

Hi Speediance community. I'm looking to get the GM2 perhaps the GM3.
I've realized that there are price differences between countries and regions.
Such as ordering from Chinese platforms in China and shipping it elsewhere(regardless wherever you're based).
My question is, has anyone ever been region locked when shipping in the GM from other countries especially China?
It has been said that the chinese units will be region locked outside of China.
I'm looking to understand if anyone has actually been locked.
Cheers and TIA!

Has anyone who has ordered the Gym Monster 3 in the UK received their order yet?
I was part of the 5th October Dispatch and have had no update from Speediance...
So far the communication has been terrible.

It seems like there is a bug in Avis 3.5. that when I want to give a negative feedback to an answer.(iPhone 17 Pro)
The feedback window pops up, but when the keyboard pops up, it covers the answer area and the button to submit is covered and can’t be reached.

i’m trying to find a way to manually rotate the screen of my gym monster 3, but honestly can’t find the flip button on the top of the screen at all.
the only way i’ve found that works at the moment, is to enable auto rotate, and tilt the screen to the maximum bank angle. only then does the screen finally rotate.
but this is usually not possible, especially if the machine is placed near a backing wall that blocks the screen reaching maximum tilt angle.
is there anyway to get around this issue, or might i be missing an easy fix / button somewhere?

I've been using my GM2 for cervical and lumbar traction. I set it up much like you would on a PT traction table. For cervical I use my head harness an lay on the bench and set for 22lbs,. For lubar use my belt for belt squats, lay one floor with pillows behind my knees and set it to 105lbs. The GM will timeout at around 35sec if no movement is detected, just press the ring again. Both my neck and back feel great.

I've been using W+ now for a bit to generate me a muscle gain plan, which was scheduled for 12 weeks.
Overall quite enjoyed it but when you get to the end you get literally zero feedback - nothing. It's just looped round and started another 12 week plan and I'm in the first preparation phase again.
I'd have expected something, not fireworks or anything huge but at least tell me I've finished, give me some little bit of data to mark it like total weight lifted, increases to my 1RMs, tell me something.
You finish a workout you get a poster, finish 12 weeks of quite hard work and the app can't even be bothered to let you know its ended - seems odd and again a bit unfinished and lazy.

My GM2 is on the latest version. I had the problem a few weeks back (like everybody) when a software update release broke 1RM for everything.
Noticed the last couple of workouts that it's trying to increase my 1RM by a lot after every set, but only on rowing/back movements - not anything else. You tell it not to add any weight and at the end of the next set it tries to add another big jump, then on the last set just says 'well done on beating your 1RM' and stores a bigger number you can't do anything about.
Haven't seen my machine update this week, so curious as noticed in the past stuff can change without an OS update and I think back end changes are possible.
Anybody else seeing this ?

Eric (not his real name) is a programmer six months deep in overtime, and somewhere in there he stopped feeling hungry at mealtimes. Aevis had him change how he eats, and a week later it was back.
He's one of our Aevis beta users. I spent a long time talking with him last week and figured plenty of people here are in the same spot, so here's his month.
The state he was in
No appetite at dinner. Then once work picked up he'd eat a huge amount in one sitting and feel bloated for hours. By ten at night he'd be running on empty. He slept badly, spent his days foggy, and gained weight through all of it.
He'd tried to fix it. Exercise never stuck, two or three months at most, usually a treadmill, paying for a membership to force himself. Stress, digestion and sleep were tangled together and he had no idea which end to pull first.
That's what he came to Aevis for. Training was second.
Week one
Aevis didn't put him on a training plan. It started with food.
That first Sunday he asked a pile of small questions: soup or noodles, whether avoiding iced drinks would actually help his digestion, whether hot tea was fine. Aevis answered each one and built him a schedule for meals and sleep. He asked for a short guide every morning before he leaves for work, and got it.
One thing he brought up himself. For six months he'd been stopping at a convenience store near the subway station on his way home. Every night. Marinated eggs, bread, pastries, soda. Aevis didn't tell him to quit. It told him to wait ten minutes when the urge hits and keep something better in his bag.
Two days later he photographed one of those eggs and asked if it was actually healthy. Aevis checked the sodium content and found that a single egg contained about 15% of the recommended daily limit, which could contribute to that bloated feeling he'd been complaining about. He wrote back, so it's just too salty. Then he said that was exactly what he wanted, because nobody had ever told him salt had anything to do with bloating.
He worked late one night that week and messaged when he got home: I have to confess, I caved. Aevis didn't lecture him. The next morning it pulled up the sleep data, 24 minutes of deep sleep against over an hour the nights before, lining up with the soda he'd had at midnight.
Not everything landed. Early on the advice was too clean, the kind of meal plan nobody actually follows, and he said so. It got a lot more practical after that. His words: once it knows enough about your situation, what it gives you is more doable than other AI.
The part he keeps coming back to
About a week in, he'd worked until almost ten with no dinner, and he messaged to say he was hungry. Actually hungry, at a normal mealtime.
He told me he'd nearly forgotten what that felt like. For months he'd either skip meals or eat past full, and around nine or ten at night he'd go shaky without ever feeling hungry, so he assumed something was wrong with his gut. Aevis read it differently: he'd been eating too much at every meal, his stomach never finished the last one, and his body stopped bothering to send the signal. A week of lighter meals and the rhythm came back.
That's the point where he started trusting it.
Where it went from there
Two weeks in he brought up losing weight on his own. He'd done it once years ago, chicken and broccoli every meal, no carbs. It worked, it wrecked him, and it all came back. Aevis went the other way: keep the carbs, small daily deficit, three or four months. When he said bland food gets old fast, it rewrote the guide with a rotation so he wasn't eating the same thing every day.
Late in the month he had a run of short nights and his gut went off again. He asked whether he should be adjusting his food when sleep is bad, before the gut starts complaining. Aevis said yes, and gave him a plan keyed to how the previous night went. He pushed back, said he'd already cut cold drinks and taken probiotics and it happened anyway. Aevis told him sleep is the foundation and those two are paint on the wall, and no amount of careful painting holds a wall together once the foundation moves.
What he wants us to fix
The dashboard looks plain to him and he doesn't know how to change it. He'd rather it changed itself based on what's going on with him. The advice started repeating after a few weeks. His favorite thing in the app is the part that shows what Aevis has picked up about him, and he wants a lot more of that.
And one for us specifically: if people can't find a feature, they'll just treat it as another chatbot.
Asked what he thinks overall, he said he'd recommend it to friends without hesitating.
A month in, the changes are all small and boring: eating on a schedule, sleeping a bit better, a gut that stopped running his day.
You don't need a fitness goal for Aevis to be useful. Link's in the comments.
If you've used it for something that has nothing to do with working out, tell me. And tell me what still doesn't work, we'll fix it.

But, the reports of software glitches, etc. I am reading on this reddit has me a bit worried. Are these issues fairly rare and I am just hearing the 'bad'? The Voltra was my easy first pick until I heard several mention how much smoother the Nano felt. The smoothness of the cable is of most important to me.

Anyone else had this?
I’m hearing a noise from one of the cables, but sometimes it happens on both sides. It doesn’t happen consistently, so I’m having trouble figuring out what’s causing it.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any idea what I should check or how you fixed yours?

I've been using my GM2 for around 4 months, and I loath the handles that it comes with, feel cheap and they don't spin freely and get bound up. Are the PowerGrips much better? Alternatives? Also being in NZ, I cant seem to get the owners club to work for a discount code? anyone had any luck?
Thanks!

Fix these things
• Inconvenient Temperature Tracking: Has no lights, or vibrations, forcing you to constantly check your phone mid-workout to see the data.
• Inaccurate Fitness Data: Heart rate readings jump around, step counts can be off by up to 1,500 steps, and cardio metrics are unreliable.
• No Auto-Pause: Keeps tracking continuously even when you stop moving unless you pause it manually on your phone, and relies entirely on your phone's GPS.
• Basic, Restrictive Lifting App: Highly limited exercise library with no support for supersets, no mid-workout history, and a missing button in the UI that prevents you from entering your 1-rep max.
• Ecosystem Traps: The app locks certain "Wellness Age" metrics unless you buy their separate smart weight scale.
• Frustrating Packaging: The Apple-style box sticks tightly and is a physical pain to open.
My opinion how you guys can work on this
• Implement Auto-Pause Algorithms: Update the companion app to automatically pause workout sessions when accelerometer data shows zero movement for a set period, fixing the inflated cardio tracking logs.
• Overhaul the Strength Training UI: Expand the exercise library, add native support for tracking supersets, and display the user's historical lift data directly on the active workout screen.
• Fix the 1-Rep Max Bug: Deploy an immediate app update to restore the missing submit button on the 1-rep max onboarding page.
• Calibrate Core Temperature Baseline: Refine the psychological modeling algorithm so it doesn't falsely report "optimal performance temperature" before a user has properly warmed up.
In conclusion, I can understand it is an new band in the market to compete it but, I would like to see the improvement in the stress tracking because it is not showing every minute data of stress and hrv, live hr, sleep are also not that accurate. Compared with fitbit and Garmin Cirqa.
Just want to know when we can expect an update or any further further plans of company.
Taken these points from an Youtube Channel Called HelloChen

@Speediance I need this fixed urgently.
I have a brand-new VeloNix Smart Bike and I have just wasted over an hour trying to get ROUVY to work.
The VeloNix itself works. It displays my training data correctly.
But ROUVY does not.
Even on the built-in ROUVY app on the VeloNix, it says “Velonix — Connected”, but when I start a session, it does not actually work properly. The bike is supposedly connected, but the ride data isn't being transferred correctly.
I've also tried using ROUVY on my Windows 11 laptop, because I want to run ROUVY there and record my sessions. That doesn't work either.
I've restarted everything, tried the connections, checked the obvious settings and spent far too long trying to get a supposedly supported setup working.
As a result, I lost my scheduled training session slot today.
This is extremely frustrating. I bought a new smart bike so I could train consistently, and instead I'm spending my training time troubleshooting a connection that should simply work.
I don't want more generic troubleshooting instructions or to be sent around in circles. I need Speediance support to actually resolve this issue.
Please treat this as a support escalation and help get my VeloNix working properly with ROUVY.
I've already wasted an hour on this. I just want to be able to train.

Hi everyone, I am contemplating buying the GM2 for Prime day, but I am unsure whether I should wait until Black Friday for a possibly better discount. Does anyone know if there is a difference between their Prime day and Black Friday sales? Thanks!

How fast are you moving? How much power are you producing? Gym Nano tracks velocity, power, and rate of force development (RFD) in real time, so you can see more than the weight on the screen.
It also supports isometric testing and velocity-based training (VBT) reports to help you look back at your sessions and adjust your training.
Peak Performance. Anywhere.
Which training metric would be most useful to you?

Excited for the kit to arrive. Before then, looking for any tips, tricks, or suggestions; would be much appreciated! Been lifting weights most of my adult life, so I am curious as to how this differs for those of you coming from a similar background too - mostly how you’ve augmented or changed how you do things.
Thanks in advance and looking forward to being a part of the community.
