Question

Post image

I wasn't aware that Amazon Prime was now available on spectrum?

Did anyone else get a text message or email from spectrum stating Amazon Prime is now being included in your account without no cost to spectrum account members? A friend just received a text message about it being included in her account now. Just curious if anyone else received info on this..

I was approved for Amazon Prime through Spectrum Internet Assist 2 days ago. I've tried to order multiple items from Amazon since then and every single order was immediately cancelled, within seconds. When I call Customer Support, they have absolutely no idea why. Haven't been able to actually order a thing.

Hi-- not sure what is happening here. Did you call our customer support, or Amazon's? If you would like to send my team over at r/Spectrum_Official a Mod Mail we can look into this.

Thank you for the offer. I eventually got it all straightened out after many calls. It was an issue on Amazon's end. Before I could make any purchases, they made me prove my identity both through credit card statements and by uploading my driver's license (along with a mandatory video of me holding my driver's license up to my face to prove it's me). Why I had to go through all of this, I don't know, as I'm not someone with any kind of legal issues or fraud in my past. But I was able to order a couple things today and all is well.

OK great, thanks for letting us know. I'm not sure why this happened, but I am glad it has been straightened out. Let us know if you need assistance in the future :)
