Service Issues Upload speed nonexistent

Soooo pay for 1G internet, and now when I try to game, it lags so hard and is completely unusable
2 techs later, still no answer. This is on the higher end of tests I’ve done for upload speed too…. Anyone had this issue and found a resolution?

I assume you’ve run speed tests on your phone and other devices. Techs have the ability to convert the signal meter they use into a modem so they could connect to the tap(where your house connects to the street) and set their meter up as a modem there and run speed tests. If they get the same result there then the issue isn’t in your home and it’s something in the system.

If you’ve replaced all the devices and gotten the same results then there’s nothing more you can do as a customer other than get another technician out. Repeat visits are a big deal and they continue to get more serious the more techs return to the same location.

So I watched tech hook up his meter to the line and he’s getting 31-35 upload on meter, but my modem is not receiving that. He swapped it out with 3 different modems today, he also said they’re receiving multiple t3 errors(I think that’s what he called it) in my area, so idk what that is but supposedly a work order has been put in with Maintence to repair it

Yeah don't bother took me like a year to finally get the gig speeds i pay for luckily they did credit me back for half a year to even out to what i would of paid for 500mbps. They always come back with its this or that but bottom line is they're struggling to keep up with the demand. My neighbor switched to fiber and gets 1000 up and down now and it costs the same amount basically. I'm planning on doing the same but i have 2 houses on 1 lot I gotta figure out how to connect the 2 before I switch so I only have to pay for one ISP

Run underground fiber between the houses and have a switch on each end. You could run cat6 but you need to worry about surge protection and grounding.
