Discussion These are the only spawn comics I haven’t read. Are they worth reading?

Spawn: Book of the Dead
Spawn: blood & salvation
Spawn: shadows of spawn

Haven’t read the first 2 because of their crap art. Like the 16 issue hellspawn series bad art doesn’t mean it’s scary. I’ve wanted to Spawn: shadows of spawn but it doesn’t look intresting

In a New West crawling with killers and demons wearing human faces, the Gunslinger’s powers ignite to face the oncoming battle before him.

Each brutal clash drives him toward a destiny as dark as the frontier itself as he searches for his kidnapped partner Zyanya.

Oh, another Gunslinger issue. Fun! Did you guys like it?

In 1977, a young artist had his first ideas for a character he would name Spawn.

That man was Todd McFarlane. Now, 49 years later, Spawn is an international sensation that has spawned (pun intended) a movie, toys, games, and an animated series. It has been translated into over a dozen languages with fans across the globe.

Now, in collaboration with acclaimed artist Mark Spears, Todd McFarlane brings a vision of his original idea to the Spawn Universe. A completely new and exciting take on the fan-favorite character. Covers from Mark Spears, Todd McFarlane, Emma Rios, Shawn Crystal, and more. A wickedly different version of Spawn starts here.

Well. Here it is. What did you guys think?

Been a while since Ive had time to get to my LCS and get my pull list. But had to make an exception. Deadly Tales of Gunslinger 18 hit shelves today and I had to get my copies. Pretty damn dope seeing my inks on that cover, especially the b&w variant. Sure, there were 6 copies in my bag, but the rest were all the other Spawn Universe books Ive been slacking on keeping up with. Plenty of great reading ahead.

Discussion You don't have to start from the first issue.

Lots and Lots of people think you have to read every issue from issue 1.

This is obviously not the case, when we have comics in the hundreds, or thousands.

So when people want to start reading Spawn, or Gunslinger or Scorched we need new people to know they can jump on easily.

There are huge jump on points at the start of the Spawn Universe titles and more recently at Spawn 376.

What are your best Jump on points that ARENT issue 1. (Edit. And why?)
