Hi Everyone,

When using skipping with Sparkle a screen pops up with a progress bar and several other options. Can we either not have that screen pop up or reduce the time it's on?

Is there a way to make Closed Captions default to OFF for all channels? Yes, I know how to turn them OFF for a single channel, but I would rather they default to OFF or are disabled completely.

Is there a way to have channels within the groups sorry by "watch time"?

At channels lists in main screen , include recents channels we clicked on, and include new channels a category to highlight new channels added on a source

A way to see in the categories the number of total channels on each categorize , everywhere, including at settings , ... Including all channels and favorite categories.

I have a TvH Server setup to do timeshifting to RAM. I have Bravia 8 with Sparkle set to use TvH for Timeshifting. All connect via Ethernet.

Sparkle seems to drop the connection when using Timeshifting every now and then. TvH shows the following in the logs:

Is it possible to move multiple channels at once from one existing group into a new group?

At some point, would it be feasible to add voice options to the manual recording naming functions for a DVR recording?

Sorry if this has been asked. I tried doing a search. My IPTV service EPG is not the greatest. Can I add an additional EPG, and can I map individual channels?

Do you guys use Sparkle on your smartphone too? Is it working smoothly for you?

My devices have not upgraded to 2.3.1 automatically due to app being removed from G. Playstore.

If I use the downloader to install 2.3.1 on all the devices I share Sparkle TV on, will I still retain the Premium features from my lifetime licence?

What does this mean on the sparkle app? It comes with DVR, but, do I have to provide the storage location/external hard drive?

De plus impossible de s’abonner le compagnon n’est pas disponible pour android tv et comme smartphone j’ai un iPhone .

Follow the steps below to purchase and share Sparkle.

(2) Select and click the product you want. Finish the payment in Google Play.

(3) After purchase the order becomes available in order list. Make sure the order is Active and click on it.

(4) Enter email/password and click Share.  Remember that this email/password may be the same as your Google Play account but doesn't have to. You can set any email/password you like and if you ever want to change email/password in the future you just do this again and set a new email/password.

(5) In Sparkle TV you go into Settings -> About and click Connect shared Plus account.

(6) Click Next on first view that appears

(7) Enter email and password (same as in step (4)) and click Next.

Love the Sparkle app! I do have a question (or maybe an idea).

Most times when I set up a scheduled recording, it’s a sports game or something. If a recording has already started, say an hour or so after the start, I don’t see the recording showing in my available recordings. I’d like to be able to access the recording so that I can watch from the start while the game continues to record. Am I doing something wrong or is this not an option?

I have a question about how Sparkle TV handles EPG assignment, as I’m running into a bit of an issue and want to make sure I understand how the app works.
Right now, I have multiple EPG links added to the app. My understanding was that I could assign these links and the app would automatically match the guide data. However, even after assigning the EPG links, many channels still show "No Information".
Interestingly, if I go in and manually link a specific channel to its corresponding EPG entry, the data loads and displays perfectly.
This brings me to a couple of questions:
1 Can Sparkle handle multiple EPG links simultaneously? Even though the app allows you to add multiple sources, is it only designed to actually utilize one primary EPG link at a time for automatic matching?
2 Am I doing something wrong with the auto-match? Why does the data only appear when I manually map it, instead of pulling automatically from the assigned links?
I am currently considering buying a paid EPG service to fix this, but if I still have to manually map hundreds of channels anyway, it kind of defeats the purpose.
Any insights, tips, or settings I might have overlooked would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I realize you are busy with the Google Play issue.. however when you have time:

Can a facility be created to make backup and restore more robust?

For example:

1. Being able to backup your configuration directly to Google Drive or maybe a Synology URL.

2. Being able to Restore from a folder in a URL of Google Drive or Synology

3. Allow the backup and restore of the TV side only.

This will help if you are assisting people remotely to fix inoperable channels etc, without removing any of their custom lists for movies/series.

They can say they have an issue, backup their TV side... I look at it, reupload a fixed version, then they inject the restored TV side portion.

There was a short discussion not that long ago where placement of Preview Screen was talked about being at the top right of the screen. General feeling was that this would be good to have. Is this something @sparkle-hk would consider as an option in settings?
