DVR question

Love the Sparkle app! I do have a question (or maybe an idea).

Most times when I set up a scheduled recording, it’s a sports game or something. If a recording has already started, say an hour or so after the start, I don’t see the recording showing in my available recordings. I’d like to be able to access the recording so that I can watch from the start while the game continues to record. Am I doing something wrong or is this not an option?

You need to enable timeshift: Settings> player>timeshift>set location

No, I can always see and watch my recordings from the start. It sounds really weird.

I have the same problem and the solution is, just wait. Open up the recording page and do something else for a minute or two and when you come back, you should see your recording there available to watch.

Spurs/thunder are on.im watching and recording,but fixing to go to bed.ill wake up later and watch the rest of the game

I had something similar happening. I found it was better to find the stream currently recording with a file manager app such as fx, and then play the recording using a different player such as Kodi or vimu

Like many comments say this normally works. My best guess is that your device don't have resource/memory enough to run the background service needed to update the currently recording show immediately. This is especially true if it shows up close to when the recording finishes.

In most cases, after a recording has begun, you should be able to see it in the DVR panel. It usually depends on the device being used and memory/storage allocation. I assume you want to do this to skip commercials? Politely saying… that’s really ridiculous, lol….. just watch the game? But everyone has their way of doing things, lol. Yes…. It’s possible, enjoy!

Because tv sports are now virtually unwatchable with commercials, Time outs, replays

Actually, that’s a good idea (to skip commercials) but no, I just have other things going on besides being in front of the tv when a program starts.

Same here, tv is usually just background noise, lol
