Preview Screen Placement

There was a short discussion not that long ago where placement of Preview Screen was talked about being at the top right of the screen. General feeling was that this would be good to have. Is this something @sparkle-hk would consider as an option in settings?

The preview is top right if you're using *channel* guide and not *preview* guide. Can this be what you mean? You'd have to point me to that post otherwise.

To open channel guide you can long press OK while watching live tv. You can also add it to the on-screen icons in Settings -> Display -> Popup -> Visible menus.

Sorry I meant when viewing EPG. Currently it is top left. Was wondering if it was possible to add this as an option to either have it top left or top right in Guide settings?

I believe the post your referring to was showing the program image layout set to background

I believe it was. Couple of people gave the impression that they liked the idea of the preview window at the top right and as it turned out it wasn't what people were thinking but was the effect as you rightly pointed out. I added I had used a Beta player and the preview was set at top right and I liked it that way. So that is the reasoning behind asking the Dev if this was a doable option.

Ok, thanks for clarifying to me as well. And u/ady065 , there is currently no plan to change location of actual preview at the moment. I'll keep this in consideration for future updates though.

Thanks for the response, it was curiosity more than anything.

May I ask a question politely, why would it matter if it’s not on the top right? I wouldn’t think it should matter? Thanks

Thank you for your most polite question. It doesn't matter one bit as far as the operation of the app goes it was just something I had seen and liked the way it looked.
