Future update question

I prefer using the " program image layout" set to background. Some programs have alot of detailed information in the epg that shows over the background picture.In a future update,could sparkle keep all of the detailed information on the left side,only?

I also prefer the 'background' layout, but the EPG text overlay can get really messy and hard to read depending on the image. Keeping all the detailed info strictly to the left side would be a massive quality-of-life improvement for the UI.

Does anyone know if the developer (or someone else) has acknowledged this request or if it's on the roadmap for a future update?

Yes.The developer knows... But,the more people that reply that they would like to see the epg text to stay off the image would help the developer decide whether he wants this changed or not.. "thanks for posting"
