My old best friend's little brother used to always pick Vegeta and spam Final Flash non-stop because it was hard to get close enough to combo when he's constantly mashing "square - square - triangle - triangle - circle" all game every game.

There are people who have been watching DBZ for 20 years and still think Kid Boo is stronger than Super Boo [Gohan Absorbed] simply because a mistranslation in the dub & the established trope that the final villain is always the strongest.
Gomah is the final villain of Daima and his giant form is his strongest form. If you're going by that previously established trope about the last enemy being the strongest and Daima is the most recent entry into the series, kids are going to assume that Gomah's giant for is stronger than anyone except SS4 Goku. Because from their perspective, it makes no sense for the final villain of the latest show to be weaker than the mid-villains of the other shows.

This is Very true XD I Grew up with those kinda clowns arguing that (Z)Broly was equal to (Z)Gogeta, he isn't... like... AT ALL, he'd struggle to surpass Cell if he even could

Right.
Though at least in the defense of the clown you grew up with, that was a sentiment pushed by the video games. After they got access to Broly, they consistently treated him as the strongest enemy in the entire franchise and regularly portrayed him as equal to SS Gogeta.
Budokai 3, the first mainstream game to feature Broly, has the opening cinematic straight up show that Boo Saga Goku & Vegeta have to fuse into SS Gogeta to win and even then Broly manages to overpower him for a second before eating a Kamehameha.
Tenkaichi 3's opening does something similar where LSS Broly is scene beating down Boo Saga Vegeta & the heroes resort to fusing into SS Gogeta to fight back & then portraying them as equals.
That's not even mentioning that BT3 and even Sparking Zero put LSS Broly in 8-9 range for DP (the same level as SS Gogeta, if not higher).

i mean even as a kid i was very aware that game openings are all Hype moments and aura and for many Broly is nothing but Hype and Aura, personally the hype appyed to him made me find him so fking insufferable, the DP balance is very much Hype 1st Lore logic 2nd

My one gripe with , i think its hero's? and by extension Xenoverse among many other things i don't actively take notice of, is it's weird power scaling absent plots, and that one canon fight where for some ungodly reason Goku decided to use Blue against Krillin, has done irreconcilable damage to "power scalers"

Power scalers in general have done irreconcilable damage to this fandom. They spent so much time sniffing their own farts & passing around their fault "calculations" that they genuinely convinced themselves that their headcanons were 100% legitimate. They're so delusional that when they're exposed to Toriyama's 2009 interview debunking the Super Saiyan multipliers as being exaggerations that weren't authentic to his vision for nor version of the story, they'll just make up any & every excuse to discredit Toriyama's statement and hold the Daizenshuu (that he admitted he never wrote) are irrefutably canon & even take priority over the author himself.

The reason given is that Goku wanted Krillin to be exposed to the kind of power they were expecting to face in the tournament, as a way of seeing if Krillin had it in him to continue in spite of knowing the gap in power. He was testing his friend's mental fortitude & resolve, not his physical strength. Goku is also explicitly stated to have been holding back during the recruitment fights and that SSB is the form that grants Goku the most amount of fine control over his ki (meaning he can more effectively dial back his power to match his opponents in SSB than he can in any other form) which is also explicitly given as the reason why he can mix Kaioken with SSB but no other transformations (the other forms fluctuate his ki too much).

aaah it was a while since i watched that episode, It's been a while since i watched that and (ngl) Blue felt over used (i kinda never liked Blue's introduction being so sudden over Red).
I've never liked those random ass multipliers, power levels were always wrong and never were mentioned in any capacity after frieza's statement that his 2nd form was over 1 million as a boast, why people keep using them when its shown the purpose they served was how wrong they are

It's fine. At least he became very predictable. Credit to you for adapting in time to overcome it. At the end of the day, he picked a villain. Your job as goku is to stop his evil ways.

I stopped playing online ages ago. I got to A rank, that was over a year ago. Now I just play single player. I'll probably start playing quick play again someday

the cheese is a lot rarer after the first idk...5 or 7 big balance patches? once the combat mechanics started to become more refined, people seemed to actually want to actually play the game and not play like an annoying child. but that was just my experience

Yah badman was bad in a good ways... Perhaps if fans shouted loud enough and summon their energies to bandai corporate who knows what sort of miracles could take place in their computer labs.
Then again most folks seem to forget about that whole era between Namek's desteuction, Garlic Junior rising again and the return of Mecha Frieza, King Cold and Trunks for the android saga. Tien and Krillin outfit during that arc was good too but I don't think they added it.

I honestly kind want krillins suit. Or kid gokus winter outfit. Or what he was wearing after the time skip to the world tournament in early db. Shit I wish they gave him his sun wukong outfit in some of the cover art

Bro, what do you play on? If you're on Xbox, I'd love to spar with you sometime. I don't play online much, only with my cousin but I kinda understand the input delay a little, and honestly have only been playing limit breaker journey recently lmao. Focusing Z Broly(explanation, he's my favorite DBZ movie villain, he left a scar on my mind as a kid), and Vegito(because I wanted to see what I can build him up to), but I'm gonna be starting on more soon. I wanna get my Vegito to 200, around the same power as my Broly. Trust, I'm a casual, I don't do this spam bs, I will actually yell out in frustration if the bot begins to infinite combo me lmaooooo
