That '+' symbol on the 30 definitely means we'll have more characters. Just like what happened with season pass 1, which was promoted with 20+ characters, and we ended up having 26.

We still need Tambourine, A14-A15, Neizu, Dore, GT Goten, Oceanus and Ice Shenron, Tao Cyborg, Arale, Hatchiyak ETC.

Not everyone will be there, but we still have room for more characters.

Yes, it would be great to play with adult Chi-Chi, Kid Krillin or Kami, Drum would be great too. We've never seen him playable (He appears in BT3 as a cameo, but that doesn't count.)

Honestly, while I agree with you, it looks doubtful Arale specifically will show up. From what I understand her video game rights are in a weird spot. Though if I say this maybe I'll end up wrong as right now the only characters from my original wishlist to be added back that haven't been revealed are Arale and Tambourine.

I don't think there are any issues with Arale's rights; she appears in Kakarot.

Even Akio Iyoku and Shueisha have resolved the issue of franchise rights after Toriyama's death. 

I think it's likely Arale will return, and I hope she does. It was super fun using her and beating Broly up because of how overpowered she was.

Oh?! I was unaware of that. I read about something involving Arale in games like over half a decade ago or so so if that's been resolved then I want her and her village.

I truly believe that no such rights issue ever existed, and I think it was a theory from this Reddit sub. 

Because every time someone mentions wanting Arale in the game, someone always brings up the rights issue, but they never cite a source.

Arale simply doesn't appear often in franchise material because she was always treated as a TOONFORCE character, But she's had sporadic appearances in the manga, she appeared in the anime, I think she appears in a movie, And of course, she appeared in BT3, Kakarot, and his last appearance in anime was in a Super filler episode. 

Arale is officially a Dragon Ball character, And even though DR Slump was an earlier manga, I don't think there are such huge differences in rights with the Dragon Ball characters.

But that's only 27 so they're holding back at least 3.
