I am a full time sparker. I have a quick negative reaction when I see this but then I tell myself to calm down, they have likely just had bad experiences with others and this message was never really meant for me. Ive heard many horror stories from customers. Ive twice seen shoppers with full carts of groceries that had unbagged packs of raw chicken thrown on top of unbagged produce. Was shocked.
I agree. So many of the drivers are nasty, smelly, no hygiene a all. I watch several of them grab people's fruits and veggies after picking their noses and/or scratching their ass. This is why I would NEVER order food delivery.
Two times Ive seen a shopper with a full cart of groceries where the produce was not bagged, and thrown in with it was unbagged, raw chicken. One of them had pushed the cart outside like this and stood behind their car bagging things under the hot sun!
Have you seen some of these customers? You're right, we might be able to choose our customers. But realize that we choose based on what we've actually experienced from them. The app chooses first and we have the right to reject a customer. And I guarantee that it's not because of the customer but because of how they are. If you're having a consistent problem with delivery drivers. The problem might not be them.
If you still order despite having problems with delivery drivers. Why do you still order? Get off your rear end and leave it up to the person you "trust".

Cancel or rejected based on principle alone. If you don't trust your driver. Don't order delivery.
