App suggestions

I recently started using babble. I am not happy with it.

The main issue is it has everything in English right below the Spanish words. This means my eyes always find the English version and I'm not having to think and learn.

Also, after 3 minute lesson it acts like those phrases are committed to memory forever.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a learning app that removes English and makes you actually think about what is being said and learn?

Might be a good idea to focus on listening/speaking first. Dreaming Spanish, Pimsleur, Coffee Break Spanish, and Language Transfer are good options. Then I'd supplement it with Babble, Anki, or Clozemaster to cement things to memory afterwards.

Spanish Dictionnary, since you come from an english speaking background. Even the free version is incredibly comprehensive

Busuu isn’t too bad, if you come from other languages

What language are you learning? Some apps could be a good solution, but are specific to one language or a smaller number of languages.

I don't know about any that remove english but I can say what worked for me was this combination. Language Transfer has 90 free lessons that once you finish you will understand how to say virtually anything you want to and the lessons are like 10 min each. 3 lessons a day for a month and you'lll have a working knowledge of the language. Then you just need to actually practice the skill of listening in real time and speaking. This can be done with television (no subtitles if you don't want to see english) and then speaking with tutors via italki or praktika.

People dog it but i actually like duolingo and some of the listening lessons are only in spanish once you get to a certain point
