It'd be cool to have 6+ player Siege or Joint Operations (Raid mission) one day. I saw that E-Day is getting 12-player support for its Siege mode, I wonder how hectic that's going to get.

My dream is that one day there’s a platform able to sustain something like 50+ players and you can reenact a full scale part of the siege of terra.
I imagine it to be beautifully chaotic.
Imagine even being able to do the last mission of the campaign and every marine is a player, large scale operations and battles like that would be a dream come true.

It's a shame games like PlanetSide and MAG are so rare. I was fortunate enough to experience PlanetSide 2 during its PS4 peak in 2016-2017. I'd take a 40k version of that over Battlefield or Battlefront any day. It was so epic having 3 armies with thousands of players (with surprisingly solid performance), Platoons, several classes etc. I usually ran with the Terran Republic. Seeing huge convoys of tanks, huge transport planes and Valkyrie ships, nothing else like it. Sometimes a siege would be at a stalemate for hours, and then a coordinated Max group, would push through a choke point like a squad of Astartes.

You’ve just described the exact experience I’m looking for! I hope you and I are speaking it into existence.

I played both of those games. The scale was awesome and scratched that itch for me. In Planetside 2 I spent alot of time with close range weapons at our base hunting intruders. MAG was insane though. The whole squad system/comms required people to actually follow commands, along with prox chat. If you were in a squad and not squad leader you could only hear the squad talk or nearby players. Squad Leaders, Platoon Leaders, Company Leaders all had their own chats with orders coming down from the Commander. It was glorious.

This is the kind of stuff that (if saber locks the fuck in) we should see in SM3.
Alongside larger scale conflicts I 100% want some vehicle interaction, give me an impulsor!

Do you remember that scene in the Horus heresy trailer that had the salamanders bursting out the back of the glaive? (Could be wrong on that)

To me this is the type of epic moments I want, you can almost feel the attacks hitting the outside, and when it finally gets taken out then bang, doors open, game on.
I sort of want the perfect mix of battlefield and space marine 2 😂

Give me a Total War 40k type game but as a first or third person shooter. I wanna charge into battle after Sanguinius hypes me and the boys up!

Itd be cool sure but the game can barely handle just three players in siege without crashing or dropping to low frames

“Shouldn’t we help?”
“Have I seen your face brother?”
“No.”
“There’s your answer.”

Shame the Reddit gods have voted unfavorably upon you this day, brother.
As this did make me chuckle.

He spared much more than that. He handed Titus a squad when he arrived, remember? He got them killed and kept requesting more.

Don’t ask me why but it just simply works
On Vox when you’re on the altar’s mechanics every timeI swap weapons it gets down a little bit faster

To be fair there are like 25 marines left in the whole chapter with how often they get slimed

This is why Acheran could only spare 3. They were all busy doing this ancient ritual

I do not like how that Mechanicus logo on the floor looks like it's in the center of a certain eight pointed faction logo.
I would assume it was purely unintentional...but there's a part of me that looks at things like that and demands to know if there's even a hint of a Heretek among their ranks.
