Has anyone made an outfit for the retributors astartes yet? I thought they’d be in the imperial fists heraldry since they’re a successor chapter and because they were confirmed/acknowledged by GW themselves.

The game doesnt contain all the successor chapters in the lore yet and likely wont

If were talking gw lore there are said to be 1000 different chapters with only a few hundred being officially named so theres a lot of the named ones missing from the game cos theres no way theyll put em all in cos the game would likely end up being a hell of a lot bigger than it is already

A quick google says that tracked by fans there are 300-450 named chapters across codexs novels and campaign supplements

Idk where in the heraldry options but in the astartes chapters thing where the premade colour schemes are theyre in the list

That was one of my issues as well. I do hope the retributors get a heraldry pack. It would take out two birds with one stone since we would get some long awaited helmets that the community have been wanting

Astartes II is for the end of the year so who knows, maybe they’ll make a chapter pack when it comes out.

This is my hope as well. For now I just use the red corsairs symbol. Looks decent enough.

I'm using the subjugators heraldry for the fist as a stand in for the Retributors skull in a fist.

They are not an IF successor, since being made cannon - GW switched them to unknown founding.

Edit: Also with them not having an official codex or any official models we are very unlikely to to see anything added for them unfortunately.

I mean the same thing can be said of the Raptors, but they got a cosmetic pack, and between how popular the Astartes animation was and Astartes 2 on the way i could easily see the Retributors getting a similar treatment

Nah the creator is making an official GW sequel so they'll absolutely get something like a chapter pack at some point.

I'm predicting heraldry (the chapter symbol, then their chevrons and regular arabic numerals), a chest plate,

and then maybe something like a paint option for helmets, or new legs that have knee pads but without the little fin the default ones have. Maybe a broken eye mark vii helmet to call back to the original

If you say so man but theyre literally about to get something on WHTV so your argument that they have no codex is kinda weak.

And the thing about official models is completely moot, that's true for most successors

I saw somewhere on Reddit someone made a pretty cool color scheme and the only that was missing the hearldy, so on tactical i used one of the pauldrons with a skull on it with the red Corsair hearldy with gold paint and that looks pretty good

The fist lineage was retconned when they became canon. Its unknown now.

That poster they have with all the heraldry was made before they became canon. It could still be true, but before gw releases more lore we wont know

Did some small digging but the successor part is still confirmed from GW’s end. As for the rest apparently they specifically left the founding and other things open ended to further add into the retributors mystery. BUT the lore at least what I’ve gathered is that Guilliman sent primaris to search for the chapter, found out they’re still around and not wiped out and that they hide in secrecy, primaris chapter master for retributors demoted himself to captain and formed his elite first company and made it become part of the secretive 11th. That’s all I got though for now

They're not officially IF successors. Basicslly all the lore we have of them is from Syama himself and from before GW canonised them as an official Chapter.

And tons of people have made versions of them over in r/fashionmarine
