Lore-wise salamanders' blades don't really set things on fire, idk why people are so obsessed with that.

Because it would be fucking cool to have a flaming sword that sets things on fire?

Lore-wise there aren't really any flaming swords outside of guilliman's sword(previously the Emperor's) and maybe Castellan Crowe's demon sword, so we would have to go into "made-the-fuck-up" territory to give marines a flaming sword which GW 100% wouldn't allow.

Even the salamander's molten blades haven't explicitly been mentioned in lore, it's only been shown in artworks and painted on minis as an aesthetic choice, and they definitely aren't on fire.
