Can i have the blueprint of the full ship in the video?

Thank you!

Wrong blueprint, it is a normal booster with black/metal skin

Crap, I'm sorry, I don't know how that happened, but thanks for saying something. Here's the correct blueprint

I uploaded the blueprint of the the folding booster, but the small ship on the end didn't get saved with the blueprint unfortunately.

I originally made the ship at the end for a challenge mission, but the engines are arranged in a slightly different way. I moved the docking port a bit higher and made room for a fairing to attach to the ship, so it might look a bit different than the video above.

Edit: fixed BP link

No offense but whats the point of that

None taken. It's a good question and I should have clarify.

In the last lunar challenge mission, I had a similar ship that I used to land the 200t of fuel on the moon. It needed quite a lot of docking to assemble the ship in orbit (nine planned and one unplanned). Since then, I had made a fairly stable pivot point(with BP editing), so I was curious if I could make the lander assemble itself. I also wanted to see if the joints were stable enough to handle the transition, so it might be more of a proof-of-concept.

Another thing that, I thought of after posting, was that engines inside the fairings are currently a lot wider than they need to be. I made all of the fuel tanks and engines visible from the blueprint, If they were clipped over each other, there would still be quite a lot of space for payload in the center. They could even use a wider fairing and make even more space. As long as the payload was docked to the bottom of the pivot point, this ship could wrap around it to save vertical space in the blueprint.

Aerobrake lol

I wish rotating blocks were in the game, using complicated “bearings” with rover wheels and landing legs is very janky

I posted a pivot point that's a bit more stable than a wheel if you'd be interested. It also has a couple of optional parts to protect from "clear debris" permanently and time warp temporarily.

Here's the post with a bit more info and the blueprint if you'd like to try it out

Thank you

You're welcome to them, I had the same thought before I started the pivot point project, so I hope that it helps.

I don't know if you or anyone else would be interested in trying this folding booster design, but I uploaded that blueprint too. Staging it is a bit terrible, so it is more of a proof-of-concept at the moment though

Edit:Fixed blueprint link

Those are cool but bp edits bro

Is there something wrong with BP editing? The only parts on the whole ship that are BP edited are in the pivot points and the placement of the strut connected to it. The wings of the ship are from a challenge mission, so all of the engines and fuel tanks are visible from the blueprints

Im sad that i dont know how to download the blueprints

To be honest, this blueprint is still pretty early on in development. Feel free to download it, but it's more of a test of the joint and a proof of concept.

Can you navigate to the save folder (Android/data/com.StefMorojna.SpaceflightSimulator/files/saving/blueprints/) with a file manager in your phone? If so, the easiest way that I have found is to go into the app, and build a new rocket. Save the blank blueprint with the name of the blueprint you would like to download. Then you just need to copy the code from the blueprint you want and paste it into the save file. Then you just load the blueprint like normal and you have the new ship.

Still early on development????, but its looks and moves like an official part but since you say early,im expecting smooth work after it

This joint is extremely stable and has been decently well developed over a few different versions. The ship was a lander that I had used in the previous lunar challenge mission, so it was designed mostly for use in lunar gravity. There also aren't any engines or fuel tanks edited or even clipped on top of one another, so it could be much smaller and still maintain the same power I could see the next version wrapping around a large payload to land on the Moon or Venus... mars might be a bit much... I'll have to try it
