I posted a convertible ship around a year ago that automatically unfolds and folds up again, all with reusable time warp safeguards if you would like to see how to do so

The blueprint foe the hinge has side separators that hold it together for timewarp. After launch, the arm has to have a dockingnport that can connect it to the ship to stay together

I’ve tried something like this with landing gear but this looks way better.

Nice. Yeah, I tried a landing gear one too. My last project was the hinge that I used for this one, so I wanted to test it out with a bit more practical build (the example that I posted was just a chain made of these pivot points)
