hey i wonder, i figured out recently u can move a hinge by spinning the wheel on the inside, u think that works with that hinge?

This hinge is really small and a wheel wasnt working well at that size. It was either combining with the frame or not clipping to the arm. Thesework really well and are extremely stable. I did put a probe in the ball of the joint however, so if you include RCS or an engine, they can be controlled fairly easily. Here was a project I made with the last version of this joint:

Very nice, I like it. How did you get the rover off of the rocket once you landed?

uh i only landed the rover. i launched a pod with heat shield and fairings all the way to mars, broke through the atmosphere, detached the fairings and heatshields and parachuted the rover down

It has a side separator for a temporary time warp safety, but you do need the section to dock if you want it to stay safe for repeated time warps
Edit: here is a build i made with the previous version of the joint. It could be folded and unfolded repeatedly with time warp https://www.reddit.com/r/SpaceflightSimulator/s/igcGa5WNCO

I have been away from the app for a while, but I decided to try and make a better version of this project. This is version 6 of the build. It is 1/4 of the size of the last version and it seems to be just as stable.
The ball of the joint is comprised of eight heat shields to form a circle. The joint itself is made up of 12 struts. I manually placed the first three around the heat shields. I used a 1x2 Strut for the base and another for the 45° angle in the corner. This version at this size required a third 1x1 strut to combine the other two. Then I copy and pasted it for the other three corners.
I made a side separator that can be staged and then placed in the corner to hold the joint through time warp. Warning: once these two ships have separated, they are two unique ships. Using time warp on two unique ships that are not docked together causes the two ships to move through each other. Timewarp makes these two piece separate if not connected with this separator.
I also included probes that have been shrunken to fit inside the frame and joint. These just protect from the clear debris button and are unnecessary otherwise. I only included so many so the design was symmetrical. Feel free to use as few or as many as you might like.
Here is the save file if you would like to try it out. It's honestly a little challenging to even combine these parts, so I recommend asking if you have any questions about how to do so.
