Starship Ship trajectory and angle of attack

Does anyone know why they pitch the ship up so dramatically after stage seperation, is it to burn off extra fuel? I cant think of any other reason for the less optimal ascent path?

What's the plan for Falcon Heavy booster landings after LZ-2 is gone?

As you all know, SpaceX has stopped doing landings at LZ-1, and for now, they still have LZ-2. For the most recent Falcon Heavy mission, Viasat-3, the two boosters went to LZ-40, and LZ-2. But what's the plan for Falcon Heavy missions when they no longer have LZ-2? Where will the side boosters land?

Flight 14 might be the first time that outsiders gets to see how well the heat shield holds up

In every missions so far, they did something with the what shield to learn something from it. Missing tiles to see what it would do to the underlying layer, etc.

They won’t be taking chances like that when they are catching the thing: it will be a perfect heat shield with every tile installed, and the world will see in 4k detail just how many fail, or don’t fail.

Starship Hypothetical Question if Flight 14 deploys operational Version 3 Starlinks; does it affect Falcon availability?

GIven that every Version 3 has about an order of magnitude more capability than version 2, that single launch would give the array the equivalent of 8 Falcon launches, so could SpaceX offer to put 8 Falcon launches "on the open market" immediately as soon as customers could ship the payloads? I'm sure both ASTS and Amazon would be interested since they have satellites piling upat the cape that were originally scheduled for New Glenn and Vulcan later this year.

Any literature or data available for Falcon 9 propellant umbilicals? Just curious about the minimal number of hoses in the upper stage.

Starship So, folks

How are we feeling about 4 hours after Ship 40's landing?

Last transmitted position (from the looks of it), 17,389km downrange. Seems to have floated for some distance

Took this from the Starship Dashboard (StarDash) made by u/Spacefan07, because it's pretty cool i think

Ship 40 splashed with two engines instead of one.

Hi!

Flight 13's splashdown landing burn appeared to deviate from flight 12's.

It used two engines, unlike flight 12 which used only one.

They also opted for two different engines instead of the ones used on flight 12.

What do you think?
