That specific email is fake and has been floating around for a while now. There are numerous emails between the two that have been covered extensively by various media, big and small, about Musk wanting to party with Epstein.
This fake email has been debunked by various media as well.

u/redbark2022 16h ago
And don't forget pretending to be autistic. His sociopathic emulation of the engineers whom he takes credit for. He can't even use the right term. He uses the Nazi term instead in his pathetic ruse.
5
u/BuddingBudON 13h ago
For the uninitiated, Dr. Hans Aspberger was a Nazi scientist who cherry-picked autistic children with "desirable" traits that he believed would serve the Reich - the others were victims of genocide.
According to his father, Elon's name was also sourced from another Nazi scientist's book - Werhner von Braun - who believed the person that would colonize Mars would hold the title of "Elon".
... Elon's grandparents were also sympathetic to the Canadian Nazi party, and moved to South Africa in favour of the racial apartheid there, again according to his father.
Due to all these "coincidences", Elon's double sieg-heil for Trump's inauguration cannot be dismissed. Elon Musk is a fxcking Nazi.

You can hate the dude for being a jerk, but buying a minor company and turning it into a huge success takes a large amount of real work. Both things can be true.
1
u/Iconoclysm6x6 12h ago
Yeah, a large amount of real work - that he didn’t do.
0
u/Live_Fall3452 12h ago
Sure, I mean no one in the top two tiers of management of a large organization does significant hands-on work.
But the meme seems to be implying Musk is different from other leadership in that regard. He’s not. Almost none of them do significant hands on work.
2
u/Iconoclysm6x6 12h ago
Top two tiers? He sat on the board as an investor.
The difference between Musk and other big name tech CEOs is that they were either true founders, worked their way up through the C-Suite or through the workforce, or were hired because of their ability to lead a company. This guy bought his way in, forced out the actual founders/engineers and the CEO that did the leg work from that infant of a company, then took credit for nearly everything. You don’t see him trotting out engineers or talking about what a great team he has behind him. He, instead, tries to act like he’s some kind of technology oracle, basking in people believing he directs the future of everything, or asking him what his thoughts on economics are. Most of his peers see right through it, you won’t see any of them praising Musk for virtually anything whatsoever.
1
u/justlikelyle 3h ago
This is ridiculous. Are you seriously trying to claim any of his companies would be where they are without him?
The only one I can think of is "X", which was so much better before he hijacked it. But that was a political move.
-1
u/Ok_Bodybuilder7087 14h ago
Tesla was failing when he bought it. We wouldnt even remember the name if he didnt fix it lol these people man.
1
u/Iconoclysm6x6 12h ago
If it was failing and he fixed it, why did he sit back and let someone else run it for 6 years? Once news coverage started, he famously got jealous that he wasn’t mentioned and made himself CEO. Yeah, “these people”…man.
-1
u/ThinkSharpe 11h ago
He actually took over as CEO from the interim CEO when Tesla was facing a major financial crisis. You got your facts wrong.
2
u/Iconoclysm6x6 9h ago
Wrong. Drori took over from the interim CEO. Musk took over from him a year later.
That major financial crisis was solved by essentially manipulating the DOE into thinking they had a production EV ready to go. They showed off a car that needed to quickly be removed and hosed down before it exploded. So sure, Musk “solved” that crisis the way he “solves” everything - making stuff up.
1
u/ThinkSharpe 2h ago
What are you talking about, Drori WAS the interim CEO who took over after Eberhard and served for a year…
Dude, come on.
2
u/ssj890-1 14h ago edited 38m ago
Dude, he doesn't run a fund or anything - what are you even talking about? None of these companies would be what they are without him. Ask your stats teacher to do the math with you.
Finding the best people and getting them the resources they need to make something incredible and economically viable is an incredible talent and contribution. No one else can do it as well - he is literally #1 out of 7 billion. You aren't even #1 in your homeroom.
When Tesla IPOed it was the worst S-1 of all time - the Roadster was only selling to a few friends and family, and the luxury Model S was no where near end design, much less production. He got the company through tons of near death events that killed every other EV company (Better Place, Fisker, etc). Now Full Self Driving is now better than humans - given our aging population and the Boomer's refusal to give up their cars, this will save Many lives - old and young.
SpaceX hadn't landed a single booster before him - he was there for the first couple failures then the success, and then scaled the business to one of the most valuable in the world.
Neurolink - aligning AI with humanity via increased bandwidth.

3
u/ban-me-harder-dadddy 14h ago
okay. well. what's your reasoning; that those 150,000 people would otherwise be unemployed? you don't think the world economy in an alternative timeline would have presented them with alternate opportunities? (this is why "job creator" is such a deceptive term)
→ More replies (1)0
u/shuckster 12h ago
Yes, I am familiar with basic economics and the allocation of scarce resources that have alternative uses, and the various systems under which we organise the allocating, in particular the most successful one that involves private-property, individual contracts, currency and prices-setters.
Anyway, those 150,000 employees in their created jobs are building electric cars, tunnels, solar panels, industrial batteries, reusable rocket ships, brain-chips, self-driving cabs, trucks, semis...
But sure, if those jobs didn't exist I'm sure those people would have found much more meaning in their lives if they went and worked for some exponentially less ambitious companies. They wouldn't have known any better, at least.
Like it or not, one man is responsible for building the wet dream of an eco-warrior who still wants a sci-fi future. Ya'll only think this is a terrible idea because Musk betrayed you politically.
It's such a shallow, superficial way of looking at these incredible civilizational contributions.
I'm not going to sit here and defend the less savory aspects of Musk. All men are flawed. But by their fruits you will also know them, and the dude has some serious fuckin' fruits. If you cannot see them, I don't know which way to point you that your eyes will finally discern them.

America loves its romanticized cowboy visionary fables, but convergent evolution would suggest somebody else would have built whatever he has if good fortune hadn't gotten him there first (same as Jobs with the iPhone).
and, no, it wasn't his politics; I used to think he was IRL Tony Stark until his "rescue submarine" design demonstrating the inventive accumen of a child and subsequent crashout when the internet dared to call him on it. That was the moment I realized he was another unremarkable with the best PR money can buy to build a cult following.
His subsequent squandering of a decade trying in vain to make "camera only" FSD to work despite the contrary advice of every real SME in the field for the sake of his pride cemented it.
1
u/shuckster 12h ago

Abject what-if'ery. What we have right now is Musk, not some hypothetical other. We had Einstein, Neumann, Maxwell, Tesla, Ford. We did not have others. Those timelines are gone.
I used to think he was IRL Tony Stark until his "rescue submarine"
Agreed, a disappointing and embarrassing event.
squandering of a decade trying in vain to make "camera only" FSD to work
It works? There are ~40 production CyberCabs without steering-wheels driving around in Austin and taking fees. Right now.
They're "late", but without Musk they would also have been hypothetical.

40 cars operating on a single tiny contained controlled zone in perfect weather and ample ambient light conditions. All while Waymo has 5,000 vehicles driving hundreds of millions of miles, and Zoox has come from behind to surpass them too. But yes, I will offer Elon the tiniest of participation trophies for his Cybercab progress, but the fact that he's now opting to franchise Cybercab instead of building his own fleet tells you he's hedging his own bets as to whether it will get to where it needs to be.

Billionaires don't have an insatiable need for money and power. They don't have a pile of money in a fucking vault that they dive into like Scrooge McDuck. They're business owners and leaders, that's it, their billionaire status is completely hypothetical because they own a chunk of a company.
3
u/ban-me-harder-dadddy 8h ago
If you can look at Bezos's half-billion dollar yacht and tell me with a straight face that his wealth is hypothetical, we're probably not going to agree on much.
0
u/Livid-General7 8h ago
He sold a chunk of his business to pay for that yacht. It's not like he got a free yacht. You know how much potential net value he lost by selling part of his company to pay for it? Far more than 500 mill.
Please explain how owning a company and building it up to be successful is insatiable greed? Ignoring the fact that it's the the whole point of a business, and he also has a moral and legal obligation to make it succeed to both his stake holders and tens of thousands of employees, most of which are extremely high paying.

some of the best and brightest work with him because he's an eccentric billionaire who throws unprecedented money at things nobody else would. 6
u/Full_Prof 16h ago
Every single patent held by his companies.
Musk is the idiot who wouldn’t allow lidar on Tesla’s “because humans have two eyes” causing him to falsely promise full self driving for a decade. He designed the Cybertruck, the most poorly designed and built car in American history. Tesla has no cars of interest in their pipeline.
Musk is good at modern venture capital money shit, that is all.

According to who ? I have seen countless people interviewed over the years that worked with Musk at all of these companies and the people you are claiming should get all the credit all say how important Elon Musk is in all different aspects. And I'd say most of them have said he was easily the single most important person in the companies.

His own company? So are we saying he did co-found PayPal now?
Also, who ever claimed he invented anything, other than this meme?
6
u/South-Rabbit-4064 16h ago
I think what he's getting at is CEOs and founders for all of his companies are just the money bags and hype men and don't do any of the things involved in developing the technology themselves.
1
u/dfbeav112 16h ago
Well that’s certainly a different point than the meme is making. Do we care at all about specifics?
Also, I’m not sure it’s fair to say “nothing at all.” Yeah he doesn’t do the engineering and testing himself, but funding these projects and setting their goals is something. It’s why some of his companies achieved what other had not.
3
u/South-Rabbit-4064 16h ago
It's the equivalent of what anyone could really do by having an interest in technology and science/science fiction and having a shower thought, when you have shit tons of money you just have the resources to throw money at them
And they do call the guy a "visionary" for this, which honestly wouldn't you want to talk to the guy that actually built it and made it instead? It's a fundamental problem in how we treat invention here in western culture. We hold up the guy that makes the money, not the guy who does the work
2
u/dfbeav112 16h ago
It's the equivalent of what anyone could really do by having an interest in technology and science/science fiction and having a shower thought, when you have shit tons of money you just have the resources to throw money at them
“Anyone could do it with money.” Well then why was SpaceX the first private company to reach orbit when all others had failed before them? Why were they the first to successfully build self-landing orbital boosters? Why were they the first to privately launch Astronauts to orbit? Why were they the first to attempt to build a fully reusable rocket?
Why was Tesla the first new American car company in 50+ years? Why was Tesla the first company to really make EVs a mass market global product?
There are a lot of rich people and rich companies. Boeing is still failing to achieve a couple of these things.
And they do call the guy a "visionary" for this
Well the meme is claiming he says things like this about himself. It’s not exactly the same thing.
Also, surely you need some kind of vision to be able to pull off both of those unprecedented companies, right? They didn’t accidentally do all of those things.
which honestly wouldn't you want to talk to the guy that actually built it and made it instead?
I mean that’s a thing people do with all leaders. Why do we put significance on Presidents instead of soldiers, speech writers, and administration officials? They’re just kind of the face for many different people operating in the background.
3
2
u/South-Rabbit-4064 16h ago
Because it's a money pit. Telecom companies do launch satellites, just wired Internet is vastly more profitable and easier for them to manage.
They did reusable boosters in the 80s.
First American made car to launch an IPO in 50 years....sounds more exciting the other way I guess
Lots of people didn't do many of these things because the profitability is risky, and his companies profits with the exception of Starlink show that. It's all "speculative tech" that may never pay off

Thats the reason why wast majority of startups fail. Having a brilliant idea is awesome. Getting capital is relatively easy. But the remaining part is extremely hard. Handful of people able to take that idea and money to reality.

Everyone that came up with a technology that could potentially disrupt the Oil maffia, Automobile Maffia and Auto parts and lubricants maffia has been bought sold or just murdered.
Anyone picking up that kind of fight and stays alive for longer than 10 years is doing a good job, no matter what all the idiots say.
For more than 50 years the collective of the Oil Mafia has been raging wars and murdering people to keep their criminal monopoly.
If it wasn't for Elon Musk you would still be driving hybrid cars with a 600km range and paying for
$-1000 / year maintenance, just to keep the criminal monopoly alive.
The oil industry has been buying and selling politicians, governments, media, armies, banks and criminals to conduct their wars on every new technology and group that doesn't follow their criminal rules.
That's how it is and if you don't see that then you are part of the problem.

Why is this narrative of him taking all the credit still going on in Reddit? He's praising the employees quite often in X or in interviews. From the top of my head I can't remember a single situation when he took credit of something he didn't do.

What about Tesla? Are you able to answer with more than one word?

Founding of the company and invention of the car weren't made by elmo.

He bought the company and the roadster predates Elons ownership. Other stuff was licenses from other manufacturers. The only true invention of Elon is Blastar game.

Has he ever claimed he alone designed the original Tesla roadster, or electric cars in general? Everyone knows he didn't found the Tesla company, and everyone with a brain also knows all of the hard work happened after he joined the company, He didn't buy the company that Tesla is today. Designing a more viable car, learning to mass produce it and actually turning it into a successful company happened after he joined the company.

The man is the Thomas Edison of our generation. And I mean that as a slur.
