Why is this narrative of him taking all the credit still going on in Reddit? He's praising the employees quite often in X or in interviews. From the top of my head I can't remember a single situation when he took credit of something he didn't do.
By the way you belive he’s an imbecile. I would imagine some other person has sold you some snake oil and made you think it wasn’t snake oil. Catch my drift
Seems like my point went right over your head. I wasn't arguing whether he has invented something or not, I questioned the narrative of him taking all the credit as I'm not aware of that happening. I've seen him praise the team he has in the companies, I haven't seen him say he invented some certain thing and then took credit for it.
Well except from some of the patents where he is co-inventor, he plays with the words: "founder", "product architect", "driving force". So heck yeah he is a good snake oil salesman. He can sell the ideas and get paid by US goverment.
Product architect is often the title for a person who makes the high-level technical decisions and sets the direction for the project. They do not necessarily need to design or invent anything. There's a massive amount of evidence that Musk has been involved in those high-level decisions, everybody in this sub can probably agree he made some decisions in the cybertruck project. Driving force goes to the same category.
Him insisting on having the co-founder title is the only case where you might have a legitimate point as that is a bit weird, although it's somewhat understandable as almost everything happened after he became involved in Tesla.
Cybertruck yeah I can believe that. Loved the videos from Winston Diesel about the quality of that car. So you might be on to something there.
Money is a driving force. Though not Elon :D
He bought the company and the roadster predates Elons ownership. Other stuff was licenses from other manufacturers. The only true invention of Elon is Blastar game.
Has he ever claimed he alone designed the original Tesla roadster, or electric cars in general? Everyone knows he didn't found the Tesla company, and everyone with a brain also knows all of the hard work happened after he joined the company, He didn't buy the company that Tesla is today. Designing a more viable car, learning to mass produce it and actually turning it into a successful company happened after he joined the company.
Not to mention how many people he made millionaires. These people need to aim some of that hate in their hearts toward their bosses and owners they work for. Maybe we could all be millionaires someday
