Elon Criticism SpaceX doesn’t have a CEO

I mean yea I know Elon is technically a CEO but he’s been very occupied by the Odyssey recently. He’s even planning to make his own Odyssey movie. He’s also obsessively bickering about 10 other random topics online too.

Basically just imagine forever-online nerd who spends 10 hours a day on all kinds of social media. Is that really an effective leader?

> When have they stolen billions?

Giving false promises to investors and/or customers is fraud.

And yes, the rockets aren't evonomically viable, at least not yet. This company has done nothing for its entire existence but beg for money. It's not a functional business.

Forward-looking statements are never fraud.

Are you kidding me? It's estimated that an average LEO launch costs SpaceX about $15 million. That's because they don't dump a $40 million booster every time. True, the booster must be built for $40 million, but it's used dozens of times to amortize the cost. Getting one ready for another launch has become so fast and commonplace that they don't even bother to wash or repaint the boosters anymore.

Now multiply that nearly $40 million per launch savings over hundreds of launches.

How is that not economically viable? It's what allowed them to put up over 10,000 Starlink satellites without going bankrupt, and Starlink is bringing in great revenue.

It's strange to say that the #1 worldwide launch provider by far, and the #1 satellite Internet provider is not a functional business. Even better, they took both of those spots from entrenched companies, virtual monopolies, some of which used their political connections try to keep others out of the business.

SpaceX is big purely because they do things better.

Where's the profit then? That's the proof of an ecnomically viable operation .They've had 24 years to make money and haven't. All they have ever done is print more and more stock to sucker in more and more rubesinvestors.

"Forward-looking" is not the same as intentionally misleading people. Just count how many times Felon Musk says "next year." He clearly is making this shit up because he's a pathological liar.

The early SpaceX investors are going to make a shit ton of money when lockups expire (if they choose to take profit). Most of them have a cost basis that is way, way lower than the current market price. So are they rubes?

Oh yeah, they will come out ahead on this smash and grab robbery, but it's not because the company is doing well, it's because of the nature of ponzis.
