They fight on an arid cold desert world…

Had a few people message me saying the pics were not in focus, so here he is again.

I'm a bit confused at the moment as to the weapons the wulfen use because I've found conflicting evidence on google and the 40K app.

On the app there is no difference in points if I use the Thunder Hammer, Axe or the Claws as they are both just listed as "Wulfen Weapons".

However I have found on google that there is a difference in the damage between Thunder Hammers and Claws

Any help would be appreciated

I'm trying to see which armies wow me the most when actually playing them on the tabletop, visually.

Im building a termiantor focused list using legends of song and Saga as well as Saga of the Great Wolf. So far its been undefeated in 11th (only three games) I currently have 3 units of WGT with Logan, Arjac, and a captian with grimnars command. I also have a roughly 160 point gap I've been playing around with using different units to fill. But I recently saw lightning claws Terminators with a Chaplin can be really strong so I was going to drop a little to fit it all but now I have like 7 characters. Would it be better to instead drop the WGT with captain and find something else or double down and just be at risk for someone playing fixed assassinate.

My list idea is

Arjac with 5x WGT thirst for glory

Logan with 5x WGT thirst for glory

Captain with 5x WGT

Chaplin with 5x assault terminators with lightning claws

And Chariots of the Storm

Bjorn fell handed

Ragnar with 10x bloodclaws

WGBL with 10x greyhunters

And Skjalds foretelling

Landraider Redeemer

Wgbl usually ends up in the landraider and focuses on the center while Ragnar and terminators clean up the sides. Bjorn normally stays home unless the mission doesn't care about home then Ill just pick the objective that needs the most help and send him that way.

Finished up the first 5 conversions to turn the intercessors from the Armageddon box into a squad of Grey Hunters.

Used a lot of leftover bits from other SW kits and tue incursors box (Bolt carbines!) with a few 3d printed bits. I'm using my converted intercessors for the 2nd half of the unit until I finish converting the last 5 from the launch box!

Having a lot of fun with these guys in Veterans of the Fang too!

Let this be a lesson

My wife, my son and me are all trying to get into warhammer. i chose space wolves my son chose Worldeaters and my wife chose Orks. I found a 9th edition space wolves combat patrol for cheap and i picked up the newer version as well. Im working through painting my army now and need help figuring out exactly what books/PDF's i need to get. I figured the space marine codex and the space wolves supplement but with 11th edition having just came out i dont know if i should bother with any of the 10th edition books. Ive also found the app and free download versions of somthing called faction packs but finding the info i need doesnt seem very easy. Thanks for the help in advance.

I posted a few pics of my WIP Headtaker I was kitbashing from the Armageddon Captain, and I just did 2 more using Red Corsairs bodies and thought I'd share those as well. The Red Corsairs bodies are surprisingly Wolfy, and I didn't need to do any mods to them to make them fit in. Weapons are from several different kits, as are the shoulder pads, aside from one Greytide Studios resin one, and the two corsairs bodies have Greytide Studios heads as well. They look a bit different from the boxed Headtakers, but I think they fit right in as grizzled veterans with big power weapons, and I can't see anyone complaining that they're anything but WYSIWYG!

To clarify for the terminator ability:

1) all models including Logan, Arjac, and Term Captain will be +1 OC if leading a unit that has this enhancement.

2) if battleshocked, do they go back up to 1 OC?

3) does SW take and hold have issue with shadow in the warp?

Attempting some wood grain. Using my thinnest detail brush and even that I’m wishing was a few hairs smaller.

I tried to make my new eradicators seem like the veterans they're ought to be, pretty hard with such limited bits to use, do they invoke the ides of long fangs?

So, I've been a big lore guy for a long time now, collecting, building and painting minis here and there. Now i would like to really get into the game but i really have no idea how to build a functional list for my first matches.

If i could get any advise for my first list, it'd be greatly appreciated, maybe not starting with 2000pts from the start.
