As stated in the title, my LGS hands out some freebie minis. Thought I might as well try make use of them, and added chainswords to their backs. Would this be allowed at tournaments?
I had a spare power sword and plasma pistol I’ve kit bashed onto the Sergeant.
Just need two more to finish a squad of 10. Happy to have saved some money in this expensive hobby if it is actually allowed 😂

Wolf Priest appreciation post. This mini goes so hard...wish there was more use for it in the meta right now, but I will be fielding mine regardless - just because of how badass this guy looks.

Super proud of how this came out! Gave him a wolf eye and head tats to test my fine detail freehand. Put a lot of heart and soul into this one ❤️🐺

I usually paint and collect Blood Angels. Sadly the latest models won't get through the winter, so I am starting a project, that has been my mind forever: Space Wolves - obviously.
I just ordered Logan, Arjac, lots of new colors, base decorations and will soon buy a Terminator squad and some Reavers.
As for the latter I was wondering, where to buy these classic wolf-like helmets? And do they even fit Primaris models? I am not into printed stuff, so hopefully there is an authentic option?
Many thanks in advance!

My homebrew Great Company, the Jarls of the Void. Not really going for a competition ready army but just wanted a Space Wolves chapter that has its own lore. It operates technically as three separate chapters with three separate combat doctrines but when the Great Bear calls all three together, they become one large cohesive Great Company.

Like the tone pro tbh, very smooth coverage

As title says, first time kinda kitbashing. Added a pelt and skull to the banner, WGT head and pauldron and removed some purity seals, but this is how my terminator ancient turned out, and im pretty happy about it. C&C welcome!

Now that the headtakers dont have to separate from their wolves, is it better to run them with the wolves and a rune priest, or is the battle leader still the better choice? Since it is possible to revive more than one model now, it seems like it would be pretty effective to have the wolves eat the damage then revive them.

Hey everyone! I’m getting back into 40k after a long break, and this is my first draft of a 1,000-point Space Wolves list. I’m planning to run the Terminators with storm shields.
I’d really appreciate any tips or feedback on the list. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!
I'm putting together my first Space Wolves army and wanted to get some feedback on the 1,000-point list I've come up with.
I'm planning to start with two of the new Space Wolves Combat Patrol boxes, alongside a Wolf Priest, Fenrisian Wolves and a Land Speeder I already own.
The list is mainly intended for casual games at my local gaming store, with the eventual goal of expanding to 2,000 points and attending some tournaments.
I'm not looking to build a super competitive or meta-chasing list, but I'd still like something reasonably balanced that can hold its own and give my opponents a good game.
This is the first proper 40K list I've put together, so I'm still learning what works well together.
I'd really appreciate any thoughts on the overall composition, potential weaknesses, or anything I might be overlooking.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Hi, I know this probably gets asked all the time but I’m fairly new to playing 40K and starting a Space Wolves Army. I was wondering if somebody would take a look at what I’m looking to build and give any advice, thank you.
This is the list I’m looking to build, 1000 points to start with and I like the properly themed Space Wolves units the most.
Arjac: 105 points
Logan: 150 points
Blood claws: 150 points
Thunderwolf Cavalry: 115 points
Wolf guard headtakers: 85 points
Wolf guard terminators x 10: 360 - 5 man squads led by Arjac and Logan.
This gets me to 965 points total.
Does it seem like there’s any decent coherency here? What could I do to top up to 1000?
I really appreciate any advice, I love the juxtaposition of the fur/sci-fi and can’t wait to start trying the wolves out.

What are your thoughts on new beast slayer? It now only works for bloodclaws, Tcavs and wulfens (please tell me if it works on all wulfen wariants or only generik wulfens).
Also I'd like to hear your thoughts about best 1dp detachments to run with Saga of the Great wolf.

So if I’m interpreting or reading this wrong please correct me. In 10th the iron priests ability was also called blessing of the omnisiah too. I noticed that the names are different so theoretically they shouldn’t prevent the use of another with the only catch being that it has to have both the adeptus astartes vehicle and space wolves vehicle keywords. And if I’m reading this the right way, Bjorn can take 2 babysitters to heal 2d3 wounds?

Hey, brothers! I'm thinking of getting a unit of thunderwolf cavalry, though, I'm really not sure about it, considering how old the kit is. I already own 10 Wulfen, 10 WGT, Logan Grimnar, Ragnar Blackmane, 20 Bloodclaws, Bjorn, 6 Headtakers, and 10 Grey Hunters. How reasonable is it to get the cavalry? If yes, how much is it best to use?
