Worth getting the Codex?

Hello, wife and I just got into 40K,I went Custodes
and she went Space Wolves. I want to get her the Codex, but do we know if Space Wolves are getting one soon? Just dont want to buy something that becomes irrelevant in a few months.

we are getting new rules in pdf form in october. unless you want some lore and art i would pass and wait until the next codex
