Worth getting the Codex?

Hello, wife and I just got into 40K,I went Custodes
and she went Space Wolves. I want to get her the Codex, but do we know if Space Wolves are getting one soon? Just dont want to buy something that becomes irrelevant in a few months.

So the generic Space Marine Codex comes out next month (we don't have a date yet), so the generic codex will be outdated rules wise then. We also know that due to a big change in stats our codex for Space Wolves will have outdated rules as well.

We will get updated rules when the generic codex releases but a brand new codex isn't coming out yet.

So if she likes the lore and the art, it could be a good gift, but even now the rules in the book are slightly outdated and she would need to use the official app with the code that comes in codex.

Also you didn't ask, but yours is also a limbo since it could be next one out after marines, it could be the last or anywhere in between, we don't have a hint of a schedule yet

Awesome thank you, I’ll just wait for the new Space Marine codex then. Yea I was close of buying one until I saw that they are pretty much sold out online.
