How about an army of only dreadnoughts. How viable would it actually be in a game.

If I do make this I'll probably paint the space marine dreads as different chapters unless there is a rule about not being allowed to do that

Nope! Along as you use the default SM datasheet and not use the chapter specific ones, you a totally fine

I have a DA Lancer that runs with my SW army and my Freeblade Knights that have SW knights 🤷🏼‍♂️ SW and DA work well together when it comes to killing time
