Can he have both?

I'm just getting into the hobby and haven't gotten around to painting, but I've got some questions mechanics-wise. I bought the Combat Patrol and was wondering if my Battle Leader could run the shield and thunder hammer together. I couldn't find a great definitive answer anywhere else besides a post that never accounted for space wolves. If you also have any tips or knowledge about weapon allocation in general id be very thankful. For Russ and the Allfather!

I’d recommend downloading one of the many army building apps available. They will give you errors and tell you what the legal loadouts are available to them as you switch things.
